Mihael was born and raised in the small Elven village known as Evereska, surrounded by lush forests, vibrant flowers, sprites and the occasional fox or deer. The sun was always shining; causing the rivers that calmly ran through the village to sparkle, and nourishing the thick vines that decorated the cottages. Golden stars would still shine through-out the day, and at night, the stars that pierced the dark blue sky gave just as much light as the sun would. If any place could be paradise, it would be Evereska. In the evening of summer, July tenth, Mihael was born to Ro and Niamhe Tarathiel in their cottage home, their second child after Esyae, their daughter. He was destined to become a Cleric like his mother due to his birth date and sun alignment, yet having been a very clumsy boy, he could never cast the right spell, but he found using the bow and arrow like his father was where his real talent lied. His mother, finding it useless to continue Cleric training, decided he would become an archer and be a fighter. Although the elves had never been violent, when they needed to fight to protect their village they had warriors. With years of training, Mihael was excelling over the other students by the time he was fourteen, and decided he would pick up a new hobby, something a bit different than Clergy.

He secretly studied the ways of dark magic, Sorcery, only to have it backfire, literally. Being found spell-casting by his father in the attics of their cottage home, the spell that was supposed to simply bring good fortune somehow erupted into angry red flames, burning the entire left side of Mihael's body and permanently scarring him. His newfound control over fire never left, even with Cleric's blessings and purifying spells. He was eventually banished from his village at fifteen in fear he would destroy the village, having nearly burned the forest to the ground on that fateful day.

Banished from his home, and traveling with no direction. Mihael surely was a lost soul with neither map nor compass to aid him on his journey. Having been escorted out of his village and thick miles of trees and forests, he was left to fend for himself outside the gates of once home, Evereska, at the young age of fifteen with a still healing scar aching across his left side. Outside the gates of his village was merely a dirt road and tall yellowing grass, the air was hot and dry and cracked his skin, the heat almost overwhelming, unbelievable contrast to the lush forests and flowers behind the gate. He could see village gates in the distance in either direction, and his only hope for survival would be to venture towards them one by one. For years he traveled through the dirt and sharp grass, heading for each ally village in hopes they would let him stay and eat until he was ready to continue further; to where he knew enemies such as vile beasts and crypt creatures would be waiting for an Elven dinner.

Several years passed in his travels, celebrating birthdays within the villages of other Elves, Fauns, Gnomes and Halflings, to celebrating alone by a fire, fearing that day would be his last as he was amidst enemies and howling werewolves, alone in the dark woods or dark nothing. Isolated for the last two years from contact other than sprites and animals, Mihael had become skittish and wary, different from his usual care-free personality within his village. As the cold month of October passed and settled into the beginning of November, his twenty-first birthday having been in July, Mihael had begun traveling as though his mind were comatose, he had given up hope of finding a new life, unaware of his surroundings yet always moving forward. That is, until he found himself stumbling through the gates of 'Eden' into Founders' Falls. The police guarding the gate were shocked to see him, yet immediately came to the conclusion he was a wounded hero to the Devouring Earth, and helped him to the nearest hospital.

After several weeks, fully healed from his injuries of battle, aching limbs and flu virus he had contracted from countless snowy nights, Mihael was released from Founders' Falls hospital and was able to roam Paragon City. Unsure of how he came to be in such a city, on a planet he had never heard of, he was completely petrified at the tall buildings and technology he had never seen. It was as if Mihael was still alone in the woods, in a crowd of civilians and heroes alike, unsure and twenty-first-century challenged. The still shocked elf was eventually guided to Atlas Park's City Hall by a group of Longbow, where he earned himself a hero license, and where his life really began.

When Mihael first entered his new life in Paragon, one could remember him being every shy and reserved; hopelessly clinging to those he is comfortable with and distancing himself away from those he isn't. The reason behind all this is mostly because of his days of lonesome wandering, without any social interaction for years, but the scar across the left side of his body takes some blame.

Since then Mihael has met Alan, a very insightful man who caught Mihael's attention and curiousity. In no time at all, they began dating, and are now happily married. Because of this encounter, Mihael has changed drastically from his shy self. Now, he is extremely curious and isn't afraid to show it, often randomly picking up conversations in the D. He is a philosophical and sweet man who sees beauty in things others wouldn't take a second glance at. With kind words and a warm heart for those he cares for, those who truly know him would be glad they took the time.

Although when his new persona is mentioned, Mihael will resort back to his fumbling mess self. Still self-conscious with a need to please others, he will ask if he should 'be quiet again'.

Is an extremely skilled violinist, and... flutist?
Sounds most like Satoshi Houjou from the Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni series.
