Origins
Jack Richards life , if one word could describe his life would be tragedy these are a few footnotes to know
Childhood
Jack was born into a privileged family he was home schooled till the age of ten , his family however abandoned him for the sake of his safety and to help quell some supernatural threats in Kings Row. His mother and father died were killed in the line of duty attempting to thwart an evil plot of the Circle of Thorns. Jack was then sent to live with his grandparents as request of the mothers dying wish , Jack then was sent to public schooling for 8 more years and then he decided to go on to military service.
Military service and more tragedy
Jack Richards Served in the marines as a combat medic for eight years, during those four years fell in love with the woman of his dreams , Maria. He Married her and then they both raised a family but this wasn't meant to be. He lost everything in a flash after a four year tour in Afghanistan he came back to find his wife and children dead. It turns out his wife and children were victims of a supposed break in robbery at gunpoint , after the assailant ransacked the house he then brutally gunned down his wife and children. With nothing left to lose he signed up for another four years in the Marines asking for the most dangerous assignments available having a death wish in mind.
He almost got it too after a IED took out the Humvee he was in it left him severely crippled and on his death bed he was rushed to emergency care in an attempt to save him. The medical staff did their best to stabilize Jack but to no avail until one day however a corporation known as SiNTek paid off the medical staff and transferred Jack to their claimed "superb medical facilities"
SiNTek Experiments and Unholy rebirth
SiNTek had been watching Jack for sometime keeping tabs on him throughout his life , his family also was owner of this corporation as well meaning he was the heir to the throne. They wished to make sure Jack Richards Survived in hopes to keep their company afloat publicly. They tested on numerous subjects like him the Cerberus Gambit was SiNTeks attempt to combat the lack of enforcers in Paragon City , the experiments were kept hidden from Jack's Family due to the horrendous results of the experiments. However Jack's Case was different the Magical and Genetic Augmentations grafted into him healed him back to full and provided SiNTek with the greatest of results. Jack , Subject 621 as Known to SiNTek was their crowning achievement however there was one problem all of the intense augmentation to both and body , strenuous training and attempts to forcibly "Leash" Subject 621 went into a violent episode breaking free of his cell in an attempt to return back to his life. However one employee used a Memory charm that causes temporary amnesia however he didn't cast the charm properly on 621 thus causing him to have selective amnesia he knows his powers , what hes capable of but doesn't have a clue who or what he is. He was apparently mistaken for a meta human citizen and evacuated from Galaxy City like the many others escaping the horrendous onslaught that occurred there.
SiNTek's bitter taste of Justice
The SiNTek's head research department was currently in Galaxy City but after the Shivan Invasion left in crumbled and in ruins SinTek's Stock Prices Plummeted and employees are indited until further notice. There are a few research departments floating about but those are mostly rumors and speculation. For all intents and purposes though SiNTek is dead yet their Creation walks the earth In Search of his Identity and a new Purpose in life.
and now . . .
Subject 621 is fully aware of his identity he now knows he was once human however everything is not fully clear to him. He now Assists Tesseract Castle with their problems but is asked not to tell anyone about what secrets lie within it. He also even though intimate with his powers he still doesn't fully grasp what he is capable of and what evil he could inflict on the world if he wanted to. however only time will tell if Subject 621 is truly a Hero.
--Recent Update
Subject 621 , has taken up the job of being a physician for Kings Row. He's still doing his duties as a hero but decided to use his experience as a medic as aid for people.
Physical Apperance
- His face and entire body is riddled with scars (please react accordingly)
- His fur looks rough and patchy
- He does give off this almost uneasy feeling about him when ever you approach him
Powers , Curses and other things [OOC Purposes Only META GAMERS be warned!content contains rage and might be tweaked accordingly]
- Subject 621 has amazing regenerative factor that makes it extremely difficult to outright permanently defeat and or kill him (attempts to Dismember or disembowel are not a good idea either)
- a lot of dark essence was grafted throughout his body and even his mind making it rather hard to be dominated or manipulated by dark suggestion
- YES Subject 621 is Immortal but it is more of a curse than a blessing
- Subject 621 Shows features of both vampires and werewolves(I.E. Has no reflection in the mirror) but doesn't inherit their natural weaknesses of folklore (I.E. Fire or Sunlight doesn't harm him)
- Like Vampires 621 needs to feed on people , but no longer requiring blood but their life force itself , He usually feeds on small critters though
- attempts to soul read/ mind read are ill advised , they can work but are a gamble in themselves attempting to read him up front risks gazing into the void of death (BAD IDEA).
- forcing to surface memories of Jack's past are ill advised due to the adverse effects of each some might bring brief yet huge amounts of violence out of him or throw him into a temporary yet deep depression as well.
- He is also a registered hero and is seen on the news every now and then feel free to recognize him for it.
- he was a bouncer at Pocket D now hes officially a full time hero
Even more random tidbits
- Subject 621 has a ID(621) tattooed on his right arm
- Subjects Dark Energies allow him to read people but not an in depth look only over the surface (I.E. Feelings and short term thoughts)
- again he is immortal , but that doesn't mean he can get thrown a beating
- The Bats Aura , are actual bats flying around him they are also an extension of his personality don't worry they don't bite or harm anyone but sometimes they do have some . . . interesting things to say and do . . (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
- To oWoD fans out there yes 621 will reference to oWoD alot , especially the terminology IE Kindred (Vampire) and Garou (Werewolf) he knows alot about both societies and has his opinions on both , he doesn't hate his racial cousins , he just hates them fighting and squabbling over what seems to him trivial and pointless things (I.E. Territory , Politics and Intolerance for one another)
- Subject 621 can not physically or spiritually Die however his corporal manifestation can be interrupted with Wrought Iron , however it isn't permanent
