Ashley Raincloud is Psykera(Nalia Danar)'s cousin. Her character was originally designed to be a Peacebringer, but was made a Defender when the player grew bored and wanted to play a new powerset.

Origin
Ashley Danar was just a Jersey girl, occupied with boys, high school, and looking good. She lived in the suburbs, paying little heed to her genius scientist aunt and uncle and thier daughter far away in the city.
All her life, Ashley seemed to have great luck with the weather. Clear blue skies at the beach and at the pool, rain when the garden needed it, plenty of snow days. But no one ever thought to connect good weather to her.
That all changed when her family went on a boat trip. They went rather far out, and were having a fine time until a freak storm blew in. The boat was thrown about and about to capsize, when in panic and fear Ashley screamed at the storm to go away. It did. Ashley was suddenly exhausted and collapsed.
It was revealed that Ashley was a mutant with the ability to control the weather. She tried to master her powers, but didn't suceed in anything big until she saw a newscast from Paragon City showing a team of heroes fighting a vast Nemesis Army force. She immediately demanded to go to Paragon. Her aunt, uncle, and cousin did live there, so her parents reluctantly agreed.
Upon arrival Ashley was shocked to discover that her cousin Nalia was a renowned hero and a powerful psychic, and to this day she has never grown quite comfortable with it, though she cares for Nalia very much. (a near fatal run-in with an Abberant in the Sewer Network cannot have helped this.) Ashley took control of her abilities and took to the streets as Ashley Raincloud.
Personality
Ashley is a carefree teenager with a sharp wit. She is fair and figured, and not afraid to show it(she's quite flirty when she wants to be). She will make light of nearly any situation, but when the chips are down and the bad guys are coming in numbers she will plant her feet and refuse to retreat.
Powers
Storm Summoning
Ashley will never admit to her powers being called "control" of the weather. She describes it as the ability to speak to the weather, particularly the wind, and ask it to do things for her. However she does it, AShley can bowl foes over with gusts of gale-force wind, freeze the ground under thier feet, obscure thier vision with mists, or conjure storms of snow and hail to stop them in thier tracks.
Electric Blast
Ashley also has the ability to fire bolts of lightning from her hands, but they aren't terribly powerful. She is skilled at hampering enemies with her other powers to give her lightning more effect.
Flight
Ashley can summon strong air currents to carry her through the air. She loves to do this and will spend hours soaring above the skyscrapers or just staring into the sky.
Recent activities
The events of Switched concerning her cousin Nalia and the elf Nayla deeply troubled Ashley. She has withdrawn somewhat, rarely heroing, but she can still occasionally be seen donning her tights and patrolling Galaxy City or Steel Canyon.
