Combative Abilities

C-1 Cataclysm was developed for the efficient dispatching and detainment of wanted criminals, through non-lethal means. Seemingly at odds with this initial purpose are C-1's numerous weapons systems, all of which are quite capable of massive destruction and outright slaughter.

Cataclysm differs from many humanoid combat models in that it is outfitted with several specialized limbs. The upper set are placed where the shoulder blades might be found on the average human being, and extend nearly the entire length of his body. Each ends in heft device capable of generating a near-infinite variety of audio signals. These frequencies are able to instantaneously incapacitate or kill most organic beings by targeting specific areas of the brain. At their most devastating, both arms may serve as "Sonic Cannons", reducing organic structures to mush and rock into dust.

The next set is situated where a normal humanoids arms would be. Each seems to be composed of synthetic muscles, ending in powerful gauntlets. In battle they can be used for brute force or more subtle means of combat, such as directing precise blows upon sensitive pressure areas.

The final pair are inset into the sides of the chestplate, and wield flawlessly smooth throwing knives. In addition, both appear to have blades at the ready for close combat purposes.

In addition, Cataclysm's legs end in prehensile talons, affording him yet another pair of versatile weapons.

C-1 prefers combat in close quarters, where his lightning-quick maneuverability gives him a deadly advantage, though he rarely chooses to fight when a battle may be won in a more subtle manner. If forced into hostilities C-1 is a near unstoppable force; though his Impervium armor is nigh impregnable, he does not give enemies the opportunity try their luck. Shifting fluidly about his opponents, targeting only vital areas, combat is usually quick and effortless.

The Hidden General

General Greed of The Imperian Timespace is a highly reclusive figure; none but the higher ups in Vanguard's ranks even know of his existence, let alone his position as a General. Indeed, C-1 is never heard referring to himself as a General at all, and finds the usage of the Cardinal Sins as titles to be woefully primitive. This may stem from his own personal dislike of his given name of Greed.

Cataclysm rarely ventures from his quarters, preferring to communicate remotely and through encrypted channels, preferring that his "General Greed Stand-in" take the spotlight and the death threats from the resistance members. He serves as a tactician, putting his massive uploading and information processing speeds to excellent use. In addition, it would appear that he devotes much of his time to the ruthless study of all individuals, whether they be real or only hypothetical; this means that he formulates strategies not only for use on existing threats, but ones that could possibly exist at some point in the future. If asked, C-1 will calmly state that he has countless plans for any possible event, up to and including such absurd possibilities as the arrival of a chain-saw wielding hippo in khaki shorts with a penchant for bursting into song.[[Category:]]
