Daring adventurer Race Cannon blasted off from Earth in the 1950s to chase after the love of his life Becky who had been kidnapped by an evil scientist. After a destiny-altering malfunction to his ship he crash landed in a hidden Venutian city populated by a race of women possessing advanced technology and a secret combat art.
After convincing them he was a good person and with them sensing in him a desire to do good deeds, they taught him their ways but once they did he had no more reason to stay. While they respected him, no man is allowed to stay in Estheros. Not aware that time flows differently in Estheros, by the time he left it was the 21st century. His love, Becky, was long gone - dead or worse.
He has since returned to Earth to defend it, dubbing himself Captain Venus in homage and in respect the women of Estheros. True to his word to them however, he has divulged no information about the name or specific whereabouts of this city.
