Day 1 A modified clockwork stands up from a deactivated knelt position. A look around and a human-like shutter runs through the exposed wiring in the clockworks arms, though familiar brings a clear view of Precinct 5, This is not suppose to be the place I am. Simply looking down at gloved hands the shock rolls over him. This i not what was suppose to happen. As a fist is curled electricity sparks around the gloves and up into the circuitry of the clockwork wiring. As electricity begins pulsing through the equipment the clockwork begins twisting and turning moving through the limits of its creation. Finally ceasing to move, the electricity fades and the clockwork looks down at his hands once more and with a diminutive human voice say, "I did something wrong..." A simple grunt of acknowledgement comes from the officer standing nearby, PPD, and watching him. I need to get back to my lab and reverse the ritual, a step forward is fluid and more at easy then any other clockwork in the city. The Clockwork approaches the PPD Officer, "State your name, for the Power's Division records." My name, this is the Carissian unit of course, a rather weak voice answers, though no mechanics move the mouth of the clockwork, "This is the Carissian, test unit alpha." The PPD Officer does not even look up from his pad, "Carissian, yes proceed to the next checkpoint." Without a response the clockwork model Carissian proceeds down the street to the next officer and does as told, with little choice it thinks.

Being sent through the testing trials, a chance to get away from the PPD presented itself. I do not want to participate in this Power's Division hopla is thought over and over as the badgering continues, the PPD seeming to have real contempt for the idea of another Power's Division member. As Carissian is sent into the tunnels to meet with said recruter he looks back at the state of the city and hates it, he hates the place he is and the this that are being done. With the smallest idea of how he was put int he position he enters the Underground. The powerful robotics of the clockwork easily help him progress, down far enough to find a sight he has not witnessed in all his life, ghouls. And men fighting them off to save normal people. Wait, that is what this unit is for, saving people, the clockwork's fist clenches and electricity begins to run over the circuitry and pulse as it walks up behind the first ghoul as it strikes down one of the defenders. As Carissian brings both fists together and over its head the powerful equipment activates and magical runs glow off of the clockworks body and it bring both fists straight down over its head, Carissian slams them into the ghouls left shoulder blade and the sound of bones cracking through its torso and skin frying in as electricity sears through it is audible in the chamber. A stick rises from the broken ghoul and Carissian step over it and begins to swing the powerful and enchanted clockwork equipment into a frenzy. As the last ghoul falls, Carissian hears a voice, "Are you going to kill us just like the ghouls?" He looks around at the speaker as he addresses one of the defenders as he lets out a slight chuckle, "We are going to take you to safety, not that the triant would want you to know that." This was a man Carissian would need to speak to...

Rothstein pointed Carissian down deeper into the Underground to meet this recruiter. The PPD were down here too, and Carissian’s rage was building, he had already begun to hate the PPD and the things hidden beneath the city. As he came upon the first officer he swiftly struck him down, the power shields bursting as Carissian’s blow landed. Without a glance back he continued down the tunnels, the PPD a minor distraction and the ghouls being pests. As he came upon a captured Resistance member he made his choice, already the Resistance’s fight seemed better then complacency. The PPD fell to Carissian’s blows and the Resistance fighter pointed him to a man named Calvin Scott, recollection of a man named that, some terrorist came to Carissian, and a rough chuckle came from the clockwork, this is how he would get back to his lab, with these ‘terrorists.’

Scott had something to him, Carissian knew it, there was more going on. The man leading the Resistance would not come personally to meet him, no. But that was his reasoning, his personal feelings towards the events, as he had some insight into them. Scott recollected why Carissian was there and why Carissian was stay this way. A group of Crusaders, some Resistance fanatics, bombed the building his lab was in. A did it in the middle of the ritual to activate the Carissian unit. Instead of activation the unit, he had become part of the unit. And as Scott told him, his physical body had perished in the explosion, that this was now the remaining part of the man once known as Samuel Price. This explanation hurt Carissian, he was trapped like this. He had work hard upon his creation, crafted every piece of equipment for the unit himself, performed each enchanting ritual upon the power gauntlets, the electricity converters and put his life into the research for a new protector. This protector that would stop the people of Praetoria from disappearing. Scott also explained the rage that Carissian now felt, the effects of Ensure were wearing off his mind, the Clockwork needed no nourishment nor fluids and thus the mind of Samuel Price would not need it any longer. He, Carissian, was now free to do as he saw fit, because it was a he, he was a man, once. The Carissian unit stood with Scott for some time and finally moved, the units speach device activating, a gravely a precise voice saying, “I shall assist the resistance in their efforts, until a time when I may correct the error of my imprisonment in this clockwork unit. Until then Samuel Price does not exist and only Carissian shall be know.” Scott smiled at this and waved Carissian to a tunnel to the surface, “Power’s Division awaits you then, you shall use their trust to their folly and our gain.” Carissian simply walked upwards and out of the Underground into Nova Praetoria, a familiar place. Both the Resistance and the Loyal scum shall pay.

Day 2 Carissian walked into the Magisterium and looked around and saw the imposing Praetor White, the man that would point him towards the next goal. He would have rather struck White down then listen to his foolish remarks and pompous behavior, but he would have to hope to get a different chance. White had things he could do for the good of the city. And Carissian would do them. Simple tasks, Carissian would wade through them with ease. The Resistance would suffer a little but in the end it would all be justified, both sides deserved to be punished, the loyal followers of the Tyrant would pay for the state of the city, and the Resistance would feel his fury for his current state.

After dealing with some Resistance freak named Ford and saving some civilians, White sent Carissian to pull some PPD scum out of the tunnels, a few more resistance had their heads knocked together and the PPD were sufficiently ruffled by the whole ordeal anyways. The real task came to hand, an inspection, something White should have been doing himself. Something that would give Carissian a chance to muck around in and make White look bad. Gravatech was a nice place and the PPD were everywhere, and things seemed strained, that was good, Carissian could feel it. Captian Duval was waiting for him, almost like they knew he would be come though. The Clockwork sensors were picking up weird activity and something was not right in the labs. Duval seemed on edge and pushed a confrontation upon Carissian, he wanted it. As relations between Carissian and the PPD broke down Resistance members started to show up, working with the PPD. It was not a good situation thought Carissian, but opportunity called and both parties would suffer a lose this day. As Carissian exited the building, Resistance members and PPD littering the ground throughout the building he chuckled, what a good start to his personal vendetta.

White actually congratulated Carissian on his actions. It almost made Carissian feel good, but White was part of the problem. Having White vouch for him would help though, or just having White not pay attention would help also. And that is what White said he would do. Fine, he would get what he deserved later anyways. As Carissian walked away the comsystem in the clockwork activated, “Carissian, it is Scott. You should meet this man Robert Flores. He will help you fix some of the wrong doings in the city,” and the call ended. Scott was a freak...

Day 3 As Carissian went to find the Robert Flores, he over heard some PPD talking about this new investigator, some fool named Washington, real by the book and a good man. That was someone Carissian would have to meet too. Flores was a nobody with somebody plans, the idea of working with anyone superior to him made him giddy and Carissian hated it. Simple minded man would have to grow up sooner or later. He gave Carissian a lead to someone else though, some box in the underground that he would give some information off to a higher up in the Resistance. Whatever, it would just feed the fire. Washington was something else, a Chief Investigator for the PPD, he was a character but a right minded one. Carissian could like this guy. He would be off breaking skulls and causing trouble for both the PPD and the Resistance with the likes of Washington pointing him out to find the bad guys.

Karpo Industries, that is the place Washington wanted investigated, some assassinations had happened. The latest victim, one Ms. Fields. The perpetrator some guy named Sigg Bowman, a sicko working with the Syndicate, more nut jobs... Nut jobs that could get in your head. Bowman got his girl though, Ms. Fields was dead before arrival. But Bowman got his too, over-confident in his own abilities he fell to a swift left hook.

Flores wants to contact some Resistance higher up, pass of some information or something. But he can not go himself, to dangerous of course. Thus Carissian gets sent into the ghouls den. Simple though, in and out. Some chick named BV, probably a nobody and could give much more then anything really. Some guy is gonna get his head knock over though.

Eddie Polstra, some goon, working for Cole, the freaking Tyrant. People are afraid of this guy, because they know nothing about him. Flores fixed that, he got Carissian into the Ministry of Information and out without a sound, something about dud bombs to draw off the PPD. With information on this fool Polstra finding him and knocking him down a few will be easy.

Washington had a tip though, Polstra would have to wait, there was some guy left on Bowman’s list of hits. Some guy that was still alive, a Charles Monroe, the CEO of Syfotine Industries. This was a guy that needed to be brought in before someone else got to him. Monroe was cooperative, though the Syndicate were not so, infighting had begun before Carissian had even arrived. Something is wrong in the Syndicate and it is apparently not good.

So a meeting with this BV character was needed. It would have to be in the deeper tunnels and there were ghouls to take care of. Big Ghouls. But that was the simple part. Meeting with BV, Belladona Vetrano, as she called herself, was just simple in the end. All Belladona could give was the name of some Dark Watcher, a guy that was interested in this Eddie character too. The only hitch in the whole meeting, the PPD showing up to crash the party. What a killer that was. Belladona put on a good show though and the PPD went down quick like.

Flores was extremely interested, almost like he had guessed that Belladona was behind this, in the information gathered, what little it was. And really it was so little he had nowhere to go anymore. So he simply pointed out the character, Tunnel Rat, apparently he likes these Resistance girls, thinks Tunnel Rat is a bit cute, whatever.

Tunnel Rat would wait though, Washington had pointed out Mrs. Swift and that seemed to be important, those Syndicate type were moving. Washington had decided to come along too, as long he stayed out of the way. Swift had numerous personal bodyguards, all formerly associated with the Hamidon Wars or with the PPD or of other specialties. The lady was neck deep in Syndicate and quite the psychic herself. Washington provided a bit of good help and Swift and her bodyguards crumbled quickly.

Washington got some interesting information from Swift. Monroe was just as deep in the Syndicate as she was. And he had been released. Time to bring him in again. But Scott would be interested of course. And Scott was, he wanted both Swift and Monroe in custody and then he would break them out. Keeping the cover and helping the Resistance. Whatever, Scott would do as Scott did, Carissian was taking down bad guys.

Monroe did not come as quietly as hoped, he put up one good fight really. But went down on the floor soon enough. Washington got his man, and Scoot would most likely have him very soon and all would be right. Washington felt it necessary to point Carissian in the direction of Cleopatra though.

Day 4 That Cleopatra Lady, a trip she is. She is all Suga'ed up and stuff. But she apparently has some good leads into shutting down Resistance activities and the sort. So why not do her dirty work for her. See what happens. What happens though is a simple bugging that leads on to some raid on explosives, something with some Troy Altman and that Officer Pell too. Just have to put a stop to that, bad business all around there.

But first to see this Tunnel Rat character, and a character she is, not cute at all either. All skittish and weird. Ah well, whatever they say to do can be twisted somehow to help someone mess something up.

Some guy needs 'kidnapping' so that he can escape, well it is actually some guy's father that will be kidnapped, who cares. Just time to get them out. And that will be done and done. Then destroy some computer to get some other guy out too, a brother maybe, part of the Syndicate though. It may get interesting... And it always is. Computer, father and brother should be done and done of course.

The problem with Tunnel Rats' job did come up. The Syndicate have some list of people who have escaped and this guy that had his brother and father moved out is not cooperating anymore and wants to stay. It is a mess. Get the list and get this guy out, that's the goal here. This guy though, he is not going, instead he is going to lead PPD guys against the Resistance to keep the cover for his father and brother now that they have escaped... Whatever, got rid of that list at least.

Tunnel Rat pointed out some guy, Dr. Arvin, he has something big going on. Hit him up later, Cleopatra is waiting.

Grossman, some Syndicate psychopath and Pell were working on blowing up Cole Memorial Hospital, Cleopatra will be interested. It is all just a game though, Cole is such a tyrant and everyone working against him seems no better. This article about a character is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?
