Update: Looked over the site some. Considering the state of CoX, and it's likely return, I may redo this entire segment. She's to heroic here, heck I even thought in a nonsense way in the second paragraph. Everything in my roleplaying has consequences for the characters, and this didn't reflect that I feel. Did adjust the second paragraph.

Another Update: Should the game come back the abilities listed will be shrunk down significantly. Since it'd either be I23 or I24 I will NOT be making a kinetic version of her, telepathy WILL be toned back sharply, to(I'd only need one anymore with how I tend to roleplay the character in CO when I do, if ever, blah, powers in game would be the combat abilities she does use). The Valiance Online version of her will likely be a single version. I do not play CO enough, disregard any notes about her in CO at this point.

Cascavica'Ravicka is the result of space disaster and later human experimentation brought on by Crey Industries. Over a thousand years ago, a alien species, who's name mistranslated to "Alctrrian", comprised of a powerful hive of energy manipulation masters, were locked in a brutal war among themselves. Eventually, a few of these aliens broke off from the primary fleet on a protracted chase. This chase resulted in them crashing on earth in the antarctic pole. Being vulnerable to the cold atmosphere, they froze to death, violently. It wouldn't be until the year 2007 that Crey industries would recover the nanites, and a year later they begun tests on exposure to human subjects. The woman who would become Cascavica'Ravicka would be among the victims, and due to a stroke of luck, her body reacted positively to the exposure. However, the other subjects were not so lucky, and in the chaos many bio-nanites escaped and consumed the scientists and personnel. A midst the chaos, Cascavica'Ravicka escaped.

Up to that point, Cascavica'Ravicka was already a seasoned hero, unofficially. While having been trained by the Knives of Artemis, Cascavica was always somewhat "just" by nature. She rarely killed unnecessarily(though she did kill her targets), to the disappointment, and sometimes envy, of her sisters. Eventually however, her superiors would try to push her towards more violent assignments. She repeatedly tried to refuse, prefering operations that allow her to remain in the shadows without any "excess" bloodshed(she ironicly considered it messy to leave a swath of bodies to her target). Eventually they did attempt to force her into immoral assassinations, but it caused her to quickly leave the knives in her early twenties. She attempted to work for swat to clear her name(under extreme watch and on a parole), but unfortunately an assignment with a inept group of heroes left her with a spinal injury, crippling her from the waist down. This left her vulnerable to "Disappearing."

It was also worth noting she was already bothered by something, intensively even before her accident.

Upon resurfacing hours after the experiments, she was a completely different woman, in fact she had a completely different appearance already. Her skin had turned a light blue, that was ever darkening, and she rapidly began discovering she had an immense array of abilities to develop. It was not without drawbacks however, the psi'alctrr nanites had their own memories, and Cascavica would find herself experiencing the amnesia of those psi'alctrr that had died before her as they began to attempt fusion with her mind.

Vanguard profile Alctrrian code 7913123

From our studies of Cascavica'Ravicka, and also some aliens of the same species, it's clear the Psi'alctrrians are beyond anything we've encountered. They are truely alien in their technology, nothing they use are remotely related to the Rikti or even the Shivan attacks. What is clear is they are both a swarm, and not a swarm. Every Alctrrian, whether they claim to be "Psi'Alctrr" or "Alctrriann", possess's millions of insect-like half biological nanites within their bodies. These "bio'nanites" alter their host rapidly, able to change a otherwise un-powered being into an especially powerful super being within a matter of years or even months in the right conditions.

Every Alctrrian also speaks of a deity they worship, that lacks any coherent name. This "Deity" seems more like something they are connected to like computers are connected to a network "core". This deity has maintained a connection to every Alctrrian, but it's strength and hold over Alctrrian society has weakened significantly. In fact, the Alctrrians that now call themselves the "Psi'Alctrr" in the last four decades, while they still worship the same deity, have split from the alctrrian empire, leaving the empire in two. This is of concern to vanguard, because while we are tied up with the Rikti war and the coming storm, one of the two factions the Alctrrian Empire has split into may head our direction, or we may be attacked by enemies of that empire, given the currently minor presence the Alctrrians have here. Recommend expulsion of Cascavica'Ravicka from earth, before her presence draws their attention.

While we appreciate your concern, doing so would be more harmful then beneficial.

Powers

Note: Only the energy Sensory, blasts and time manipulation will likely make it into a CoX return. Mental abilities will be purely non-combat(and no, I don't like invasive roleplaying with psychics, but should this game come back, I will follow the rule I did before, see below).

Energy sensory

The primary ability of Cascavica, and every Alctrrian, is a semi-omniscient energy perception. They see energy, how it moves, if it's being moved unnaturally, or even if it's not moving correctly at all. Within this sphere it's impossible for any kind of concealment; they'll see your energy signature. If you try to conceal that energy signature, they'll see how your modifying the signature to see you. If you project no energy signature, they'll see something is amiss. Cascavica can see in this way up to about 100 yards, beyond that her energy perception isn't going to work.

Energy blasts and amplification Iterations; Energy/time(Cascavica-Ravica) and Kinetic/energy(Cascavica'Ravica) Cascavica's primary weapon is a heavy disruption-blast energy that hits with tremendous brute force. These blasts slowly adapt to the enemy over time, meaning that inevitably she'll be inflicting further levels of damage and hitting more easily in a protracted fight. ((both the energy/time iterations and the kinetic/energy iterations have a way of accurately reflecting that in combat)

Kinetics Iteration; Kin/energy(Cascavica'Ravica), mind/kin(Psi-Ravicka), kin/willpower(Psi'Ravica) Cascavica is most well known for her masterful, unmatched use of kinetics. She's a genious of it; she can employ the usual fulcrum shift much, much faster then everyone, and her fulcrum shift has a more powerful magnitude then others. ((thats a true mechanic, defender Fulcrum shift actually buffs team damage by 50% around the user, and 25% per mob. The corruptor and controller version can only boost damage by 40% around the user and 20% per mob.

Mental

Iteration; Mind/time(Psi-Ravica), mind/fiery assault(CoX iterations)

Mentally, she can lock opponents down by attacking their minds or scare their very moral out of them. She rarely uses this however, due to the lack of offensive power.

However, it is worth of note that Cascavica'Ravica can mentally merge herself with anyone who's mind is willing to be joined to hers. The effects vary based on both the extent of the mind merge, and the person she mind merged with. The activities performed around her and the extent of it varies.

Worst yet, combined with energy manipulation, she's able to form solid blades of pure adaptive energies. These blades can slice through any material or energy given time. (Champions online iteration has a -resist component in some attacks)

Time manipulation Iteration; Time/energy and mind/time

Recent developments from the Alctrrians has lead to a wide spread of time manipulation over the past twenty years, although the practice has been present in the empire for over a few thousand years by using species with mutations to do so. Cascavica has recently begun use of time manipulation and has very similar abilities to other time manipulators. She's becoming a powerful natural of it, mixing it with her energy blasts and telepathic abilities.

Incarnate abilities

Cascavica'Ravicka is a confirmed incarnate, with a massive array of abilities to choose from. It is unclear how many different deities she derives her incarnate powers from, but it's very clear that, while she is certainly unaffected by the well of furies, some other deities have had a impact on her significantly. It may simply be her bio-nanites have increased sensitivity to deities with the incarnate power.

OOC notes about Cascavica'Ravicka

When I first started Cascavica'Ravicka, who was named "Energetic Patricia", it was originally pressure from my super group; they had weak force multipliers. She was originally a force field/energy blast defender, but knockback phobia at the time prompted me to take a different approach, and pick kineticism. I already had a theme for her species as energy and time manipulators before I created her, due to my feeling that super reflex's couldn't work on a scrapper I made earlier with the "natural" perk. As i learned more roleplaying tricks and do's and don'ts, I began experimenting and eventually merging some other characters who were to similar to Energetic Patricia, even changing her name multiple times on the original iteration. When time manipulation was released in 2011, my eyes opened wide, and I experimented with it on a few characters(one being an iteration of Cascavica), before making an energy blast/time corruptor iteration in 2012.

The best way to describe her species is that of a powerful evolving group of half biological, half mechanical nanites that cannot survive without organic tissue. They're symbiotic similar to kheldians, but are drasticly different, and not as advanced. They also have a immense appetite for light based energy, and also absorb small amounts of other energies around them, even energies that could poison them or cancel out energies they primarily use.

Personality

Cascavica possesses a high degree of respect for others, but also paranoia and distrust. Those who are mind merged with her often find her trust easy to come by, but occasionally people will find that she has little difficulty disappearing. Unlike others who hide, she doesn't typically hide with her invisiblity, prefering instead to pick locations people don't look.

This tendency to elude people often puts her at odds with the PPD(And later, the MCP), and just as much at odds other authorities. This resultantly leaves her with a degree of detachment from humanity.

Her other personality traits are extreme energetic, which combined with her paranoia, gives her a degree of internal tensity. Combat also does little for her psyche, she's been over exposed to it and suffers slight cases of post trauma. Recent events may leave her with worsened post traumatic stress.

RP Rules with Cascavica

Firstly, while I respect powers from others, I don't like when people say "Oh well my invisibility is uncounterable". It's god moding, and shows a lack of creativity in stealth. There are dozens of forms of stealth besides invisiblity and camoflauge, really there is. There are more then one way to spy on people, think about them. There are dozens of tricks you could actually do that Cascavica could easily overlook. I won't mention them here, think outside the box. If you can't do that, you need to watch more spy movies where the spy actually uses realistic tricks. I'll give you a hint about her evasiveness; she does the very things I am thinking of as I write this.

Secondly, she has her physical weaknesses, but you have to RP it out of her and i have to be of willing consent. As for mental weaknesses, I use a "Alert non-threaten/Alert threatened" system; if it's something threatening and i'm not consenting to a mental assault, your god moding if your attacking her mind. If I'm willing then i don't see it as god moding, though remember this isn't a char I'd let die. If she's not on alert and you read her mind, thats ok with me. Her mind is a open book, though if you get queezy from violence and servered limbs/heads/torso's with scorch marks and the general violence of war with no rules, you may want to avoid some sections. Yes the war she's involved in is very barbaric, and messy.

If you start a conflict with me thats not of consent and then insist on it, i'll consider you a god moder and 1 or 2 star you. I don't have my toons starting fights with people and then saying i'm supposed to win every bloody time. In fact my conflicts are primarily done in AE as are the villains in my mission archs. Speaking of mission archs....

Lastly regarding rp with Cascavica; I'm not going to mention something of it if I know of it, but not the character name. I want to give people credit properly before I bring up the things RP'd with Cascavica. This page has just begun construction as I write this, and I'll be adding more to it and editing it periodically based on RP both past and present of significance, this is especially true if someone rp'd something with Cascavica and I either remember the toons name OR it's fresh, I'll add it here. This page is under construction, afterall.

Another rule with Cascavica is the mission archs I'll be designing; they will be HARD. In fact, your smash/lethal/energy defense capped build will quickly find many of the mobs i've designed to be very capable of killing you on 5x or higher. Your fighting an alien MILITARY, not a bunch of henchmen; these are all super powered, and all sport lots of firepower, with lots of -def debuffs, -resist debuffs, and also defense and resistance buffs. They are like super teams of the old days; their buffs/debuffs make them far more powerful then listed.

Lastly know that I take alot of time in between archs, as I don't spend much time at AE, I often level my chars up in my playing time.

*It is critical to know how to counter enemy powers if you plan to play my archs successfully, all newbies will be excluded any chance of success intentionally

*Every mob has it's weakness's but not exploiting them may make it harder in larger teams or higher number of mob settings!

*It is even more critical to know that the tank/damage/healer setup will not work! In fact, if all your damage mitigation is on a tanker, he can very easily die, and ambushes WILL be frequent based on team actions in missions! The holy trinity is a crappy way to play this game as it is, learn the mechanics of the actual game!

*It is also critical to expect to get killed in these missions even as an incarnate!

*I will not listen to people crying about being wiped cause they refuse to study what each enemy can do and counter

*Knowing the strategy to each mob is as simple as checking the name of the enemies and the costumes. Each enemy has a role in the various mobs

*Later missions by design will have "Kill squads" that are made with one purpose; kill the entire team in seconds regardless of defenses, Attack them at your risk!

An example is the Alctrrian Equalizer. These women are bosses who possess radiation blasts and force fields. Their force fields don't provide much defense, due to many players having godlike to-hit, but they do provide mez protection. I repeat, they provide mez protection. They also debuff defenses very quickly. The solution is the kill them ASAP. Also be wary that all mobs have tier 9 nuke attacks, even minions.

I won't be making any archs for CO. Not after what they did on 10/14/2014 listening to stop having fun guys.

Cascavicka In CO, since I do still play that sometimes.

Note that I will at the very least partially retcon many things happening in CO out when I go back to CoX, but I am using CO as a test for new ideas.

Also note many of her plots are trans-dimentional. This is because CO's in-game environment is so static now that I do not wish to just do the same old stuff over and over and over again. She also is aware of how static CO's dimention is.

Cascavicka has in character a good number of the abilities above. As to what this cascavicka does and has been doing, she has been left with PTSD. She currently works as a field researcher and ambassador, generally staying out of combat when possible. Currently ambassador to aliens called the "Geonidic Tarants" a group of crystaline, lithovoric spiders.........(will update as I unfold this plot). She has SERAPH to thank for helping translate and avoid a war with this new civilization.
