"Don't smoke in the house." I said. "Don't smoke in the house." He was having a bad day, so I poured him a drink to help him relax. That's what a good wife does, right? Well, he relaxed. I suppose the thousand milligrams of muscle relaxant in his drink didn't hurt. And the thousand milligrams of perscription sleep medication. He was very relaxed. I was a good wife. But he started to yell. So I lit him a cigarette. Even though I said "Don't smoke in the house." Soon, he stopped yelling. And started smoking. All over. His chair smoked. His shirt smoked. And eventually the whole house smoked. "Don't smoke in the house." I said. "Don't smoke in the house."
