The Dynatron Observator was born from a silly thought while a friend was discussing his antics doing this RP thing he was playing with in Virtue. Anyone familiar with the Venture Brothers will likely recognize where the joke came from. He was too much fun so he got fleshed out to what he is now.

HISTORY!

From beyond the known galaxies, a metal man traversed the universe collecting information for his masters. He traveled from planet to planet at the guidance from the voices from the stars. His impressive technologies allowed him to integrate with and observe even the most reclusive and advanced civilizations. He ceaselessly gathered his findings and relayed them to his masters. He did not question. He did not need to. While his design was not superior to the others, he had one trait that made him the favorite amongst his brethren: He truly enjoyed his function. Understanding the strange inhabitants of the various planets he visited brought him true joy.

With every planet, the voices from the stars would eventually order him to move on. Sometimes he was ordered to sooner than others, but always he had to go. Eventually he was led to a small blue-ish green planet circling a yellow sun. This planet, unlike the others, seemed to be a nexus of beings from all corners of this and various other realities. The people and happenings were so unique and diverse. As he reported his findings his masters pressed him forward, seemingly more interested in this planet than any of the previous. With great pleasure the metal man continued his studies and reports.

Then one day the voices didn't respond.

The metal man resent his findings, but still no one responded. Soon, he was gripped by a sensation he had never experienced. He was afraid. The voices led him; they guided him and directed him. Without the voices what would he do?

The metal man sat in a state of despair for several days as his mind grappled with his new situation. During this time a thought began to slowly creep into his mind. A new thought. An unfamiliar thought. A selfish thought. With the voices from the stars no longer guiding him, he could guide himself. He could do the one thing that pleased him. He then realized that he would not have to leave this place when his masters grew bored of it. Once again the metal man felt happy.

The Dynatron Observator summoned his assistants to him and set out to learn about the people of this planet. There was much to learn and he now had the time to learn it all.

PERSONALITY!

The Dynatron Observator is rather blunt and is not fully up to speed on exactly when certain things are appropriate. He is learning though, and has made enough progress to stop being threatened.

Much of his research is based on Earth media. While he understands the inherent unreliability of the internet, television, and movies, they are rather easy to comb over for a computer. This has resulted in a rather large and esoteric amount of pop-culture knowledge. The Dynatron Observator not only understands the references, but will often be the one making them. He has also taken a great interest in Earth humor.

The Dynatron Observator will often seem to switch personalities, from an almost manic state to a rather stoic, introverted one. This is due to the unique relationship he has with his computer, his assistants, and the way information is gathered.

THE MACHINE, THE MIND, AND THE ASSISTANTS!

The Dynatron Observator is assisted by a collection of lesser mechanical men. Most importantly are a pair referred to as Camera One and Camera Two. These share a special relationship with The Observator. At the end of the day, the three of them link up via the main computer "Mistress". Information is collected, stored, and shared between the three.

While the Robots have their own personalities, the sharing both strengthens the personalities of the assistants, as well as strengthening the bi-polar nature of the Observator himself.

CAMERA ONE!

Camera One is in charge primarily of Earth media. He is the extreme of The Observators manic and joyful side. He is exited and enjoys his work. He is eager and very good at what he does. He is not subtle. He often gets them in trouble.

CAMERA TWO!

Camera Two is in charge of the more covert and secret aspects of their job. He is the extreme of the somber introspective side. Often times he is the voice of absolute reason. The Observator tends to trust him more than he trusts himself. He is subtle. He often gets them out of trouble.

THE GRIP!

An error in the system lead to the droid known as The Grip. His intelligence core was damaged long ago and it has left him incapable of more than basic labor tasks. Despite his shortcomings, he is devoted to his master and has proven his willingness to protect him at all costs.

MISTRESS!

Mistress is the computer at the core of The Observators downed ship. While she is not an A.I. she is often referred to in a manner that suggests they see her as part of the family. Mistress stores all the knowledge gained from thousands of worlds as well as the technological databases of their creators, allowing The Observator to recreate the high technology of his former masters.

HOME!

Docked in Port Oaks is a rather nice boat. The interior is immaculate, mainly due to lack of wear and tear. That is because most of the living facilities of the boat are unneeded by it's occupants. The boat belongs to the Dynatron Observator. The boat serves as his home, base of operations, and clever way to conceal a small starship.

In the engine room is a small hatch. This hatch covers a small tunnel that leads to the crashed starship of the Dynatron Observator. In the ship lies Mistress as well as all his tools and technology. He spends as much time as he can up in the boat though. Besides being a very comfortable and nice boat, he feels more like he belongs here when he's in the boat.

ARMAMENT!

The Dynatron Observator was not built for combat and as such has no weapons. He is equipped with a kinetic wave field generator for defensive purposes though. In the end his lack of weapons is not an issue as his assistants come with a wide variety of armaments that The Observator has been considering improving as his current home is a rather dangerous place.

INTERESTING PEOPLE!

The Dynatron Observator has become rather fond of The Cape radio shows (Specifically the people who frequent them) and can often times be found amongst the crowd in the D watching the partygoers and taking notes on the events that unfold around him.

He has also become fond of one Iron Lynx as she has proven not only willing to answer his strange questions, but also seems to attract interesting people and events.
