The Short Version

Eshleen is a nemesis automaton that "went rogue" and ended up transitioning from being a stand in for a missing person by the name Amelia Rote to a violent brute who more or less reveled in their own strength. She didn't really value life at all and probably responsible for a great deal of missing people. I'm uh. Nixing a couple plot threads here about how there was an entire series of this kind of super automaton that Esh was the prototype for and what happened with those because holy fuck the way I went about that was dumb. Anyhow, she did as most villain do, and as strong as she was, she always sought more power, especially in the case when she got her ass beat by more skilled fighters. There were more than a few ventures on that front, but probably the most notable would be when she installed some council tech into herself, containing a fractured, near dead kheldian by the name of Gestalt. Her fusion was more or less unintentional, as she was more after the wierd powers than anything else. Regardless, she unwittingly nurtured Gestalt back from the brink, and it's hard to pinpoint the exact moment the relationship changed from one using the other to one fused being. This introduced some slow, gradual changes in how she sees the world, as Gestalt's and her own views merge. That's not to say that there wasn't a -lot- of kheldian-with-a-fusion-reactor flavor troublemaking in the intervening time, but slowly, the aggressive brute cooled down little by little. This article about a character is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?
