Eso was a young boy who grew up in New Hampshire. Most of his life was uninteresting, his biggest childhood problem was having to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. His favorite activity was pretending to be a superhero with his brother, Uruun, being kids they usually fought over who was stronger and would at times break out into a fight. They slowly started to distance each other as they grew up, normally they wouldn't talk to each other unless they had to.
Eso's life dramatically changed at 17 when Uruun came home wearing an Arachnos outfit and telling everyone in the family he was moving to the isles. Eso had always hated Arachnos a lot, he lost all respect for his brother and stormed out of the house. After a few hours his mother called, Uruunrono his grandfather, had a heart attack. He didn't take the news so well that his grandson joined Arachnos, luckily he survived the heart attack, unfortunately they found out he had stomach cancer and only had two years to live. Even though it wasn't his fault, Eso blamed Uruun for this and vowed to end his life some day.
Several months went by, life at home was dull at best. He sat down in front of the T.V. most of the time and watching the news. It was almost always about heroes saving the day or some villain doing something the news considers evil. One day he wanted to go for a jog to help keep himself in shape, he decided to take another route than normal because he saw a purse snatcher and didn't want to get involved. He found a laboratory not too far off from his detour. The laboratory, Avian Corp was in a secluded area of the city. On it's door was a notice saying "Looking for test subjects for super power mutation project. Subjects must have a clean medical and legal record and be over 18 of age. Subjects will need to have 3 months to devote to the project and willing to some privacy loss to ensure safety." Eso was skeptical about this, but his desperation to be better than his brother got the best of him. Eso ran into the building and signed up after very carefully reading the contract.
The mutation was agonizing to go through. It required multiple shots each day and several medications so his body wouldn't reject the new DNA code, he also developed growing pains as his body slowly accepted the DNA and changing him accordingly. Because the project was dangerous, he was required to stay in the building for the full three months. He wasn't alone, about a dozen more people were in the program as well so it was enjoyable to him. A month in, all 14 patients developed a breathing problem from the mutation and were immediately put on life support. Most lived through it, 3 of them died. Eso realized just then how dangerous the project really was. The last two months went by without a problem, Eso was growing bored of the research lab, the constant testing, medication, physical therapy and pains but glad he could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. When the testing was done and they were sure everyone was stable, they were released. Unfortunately, he soon learned the wing muscles didn't grow as intended so he and half the others couldn't fly.
When he got home after three months, his parents greeted him but couldn't help poking fun at his new bird-like form. Eso just smirked, went on his computer and updated his facebook page with a simple message. "Guess who got turned into a bird brained furry with above human speed and strength?" and linked a picture of himself. The messages were typical you would see on facebook, lol, XD, nice, oh no! not another furry! D:. Eso signed off and started exorcising to stay in shape and get the most out of his new form.
Five months later Uruunrono was dying from his cancer. Eso came to the hospital to say goodbye, but was shocked from something his grandfather asked of him. Uruunrono wanted to pass the Kheldian inside him, named Rono to Eso. Eso accepted to be the host and Rono rushed out of Uruunrono and into Eso. From then on, he went by the name Esorono. Uruunrono died almost immediately after the switch. Now with the mutation and Rono, Esorono decided it was time to move to Paragon city and become a PPD officer.
