Overview

Flee is an example how even small, timid creatures can make a difference in the world.

Character Background

Flee's race, dubbed "Kobolds" by Humans, have existed over the last 65 million years as underground nuisances and scavengers. Although keeping to themselves over most of Humanity's existence, several interactions between the two species have been recorded as mythology. With the increased Human encroachment on Kobold settlements in the pursuit of mineral and petroleum resources, several clans have opted to send out some of their members to scout the surface. As one new to the Human realm, Flee is trying to overcome his innate cowardice and learn all he can from those around him. Unfortunately, these have been things of questionable legality.

Personality

Flee is endlessly curious, inventive and naive. Still wide-eyed at the marvels he sees above the surface, Flee is quickly learning that the world is not a very friendly place. He won't let this dampen his spirits, however, and remains generally friendly and optimistic.

Powers/Tactics

Robotics

These scratch-built drones have allowed Flee to defend himself against the many hostile groups in Mercy Island. He has also thrown together an energy weapon, powered by the Orgone Accumulator strapped to his back.

Traps

These ancillary devices, all cobbled together from scraps and scavenged parts, help to even the odds against the many enemies Flee finds himself facing.

Other Powers

Flee's Orgone Accumulator has an emergency vent for its steam turbine, allowing him to shunt the steam out in controlled bursts, enhancing his ability to make jumps while not having enough thrust for true flight.

Goals/Motivations

Flee has been mostly trying to survive on the surface, learning about the Humans and their world. He has also taken to improving his devices, hoping they will allow him to face tougher challenges as they present themselves.
