Powers and Abilities
Gregory Gallant is an extremely intelligent man and is quite capable of preforming advanced physics equations in his head. He has designed several lines of power armor known as the Gallant Guardian Series (GGS) which are used for private security concerns. The model he wears is a GGS-10-57-999, better known as the Gentleman Gallant, an ironic name for it's sneaky offensive capabilities and defensive cruelty. The Gentleman uses twin blades concealed on either arm of the suit. Both are made of very durable, sharpened metal, able to cleave down to molecular levels on soft materials. The suit also has an electrical discharge system on the outer most part of the suit, which can hurt the attacker. Finally, an on board stealth system, which can effectively cloak the wearer from sight. Computer systems have files on nearly 500 years worth of Arachnos members, in addition to a targeting system that the wearer can view on an HUD display in the helmet, which can block telepathic thoughts. The suit is also flight, teleportation, and time travel capable (the latter two are standard, while time travel is custom made), although all these features are currently locked due to the drain on the power cells caused by the 500 year teleport/time travel that Gregory put his suit through.
Weaknesses
The suit is very much modified, and is not as stable as a standard Gentleman. Removing an all purpose kill switch placed in the unit by Arachnos law mandate as well as the inclusion of a method of time travel have had drastic effect on energy consumption and the targeting systems. Upon his arrival to the present time, certain systems were disabled or needed replacing (the flight, TP, and Time Travel.).
Early years
Gregory Gallant was born in 2520, in a world already several centuries under complete control of Lord Recluse and his various branches of Arachnos. Gallant was identified as a very gifted child and began to educate himself in robotics and mechanics. At age 21, he invented a series of perfections to the crab spider armor, thus cementing his status as a designer of fine equipment and was sought out by several cooperations to provide various tech for their own private firms. Two years later, he formed Gallant Securities Unlimited, and began designing various GGS systems, which became popular. At the same time, he and his wife settled down and had a child.
A Game of Chess with a Fool
As Gallant's GGS systems became popular, he began experiencing thefts from his shipments were committed by revolutionaries and terrorist factions opposed to Arachnos' rule. So no one was surprised when a new face in the battle of Arachnos showed up in the Gentleman style armor, killing both street level Arachnos soldiers and high ranking party officials, and bombing of government offices. Most notorious of all, was the brutal slaying of Night Widows and Fortunatas, which were cleaved up in the most violent ways possible.
No one suspected that underneath the mask was Gregory Gallant himself, out with a vendetta against none other Lord Recluse himself. Why the man employed and highly regarded as a master in his trade turned against Arachnos is not very clear, but what was clear was that Gregory had, in his mind, turned.
"I see myself in a game of chess with a fool. Let me explain. See, if Recluse was a worthy opponent, he and I would be fighting for the same piece, ironically the weakest piece on the board. That is to say, the least likely to play a part on the board. But Recluse believes I am after a his power, his queen if you will. This is far from the truth. See I profit either way, but ruling the world is not worth the fight. But I'll allow him to believe that is what I want. Because while he plans to defend his power, I'll be free to take the king, what he considers a worthless piece. Then I will when and will walk away from the board. Should his queen fall, well that would be nice. But I can win with the queen still up."

Unfortunately, Recluse didn't suffer fools, nor people who thought he was one.
Castled
In the early morning hours of August 2, 2558, hoards of Crab Spiders descended upon the Gallant estate, however, Gregory was now where to be found. He was spotted, in full armor, in the ruins of the Ziggurat in Paragon City. Before he disappeared, he took to slaying the responding group of Night Widows and activated his time travel mechanism, landing in the Zig during an Arachnos aided break out. Gallant took the free ride to the rogue islands, where he began his game in the period of history when Arachnos is considered to be at it's weakness.
Personality
The thing you should always know about the Gentleman is that he is jut that, a Gentleman. While his work may be bloody, he goes about it in a refigned manner and rarely takes any pleasure from any murder he committs, noting it as a necessary evil to achieve his goal, whatever it may be. He does, however,looses all grace when in conflict with "spiders" and can become homocidally violent when attacking them. He takes a certain joy from killing Arachnos soldiers, and may employ literal over-kill againts the Widows.
On matters of his family and the future, he is very quiet about. Fleeting hints of up coming events may be gleaned when he askes current members of Arachnos if they can live with the screames of children as they go to sleep, and alludes to a bloody massacre on the hands of the person. Whether he is being sincere about future atrocities or employing the idea of one as a scare tactic is anyone's guess.
When not on the subject of his past or our future, he tends to behave very civilized and genually caring. He doesn't mind working with heroes and even consideres himself one at times, though he won't put himself off to working with some of the nastiest fiends Rogues Island has to offer. He has a charming demeanor and tends to favor poetry and musics three "classical Bs" (The Beatles, Boston, and Bon Jovi. Don't tell him it isn't classical music yet though.). All around, he is a man on a mission, and who anyone who helps him is a friend, as he only will recognize one enemy.
