GAH Protest Gets Out of Hand

A local protest against the Golden Age Heroes took place outside City Hall in Atlas Park this evening. The crowd was stirred to action due to the missing Mia "Sunny" Sun-Mido, who has been missing for the past week. According to local eyewitnesses and sources, Sunny was last seen in the company of the Golden Age Heroes, specifically, Omega Girl and Argent Girl. The three were seen entering the Greylock Building, Headquarters of the GAH, but Sunny has not been seen since.
Local councilman Anton Forrester was also present at the impromptu rally. "We just want justice for this innocent girl. I feel especially concerned, as she is classmates with my son at Paragon High."
The Councilman did not beat around the bush regarding his opinions of the GAH: "The Golden Age Heroes have become accustomed to operating without oversight, and that needs to change. Either they produce Sunny, or prepare for indictments."
The crowd, growing ever agitated, lifted up the following cry: "Justice for Sunny! Indict the Golden Age Heroes!"
At one point, a few protesters even picked up rocks and threw them in frustration at city hall. Councilman Forrester disavowed any further outbursts, and soon calmed the agitated crowd.
"They're just parents and citizens who have grown tired of these so-called gods lording it over the rest of us mortals. Justice will have its day, one way or the other."
A local PPD detective was on the scene, but he declined our request for comment.

Beloved City Councilman Anton Forrester recently led a rally outside of City Hall in Atlas Park where he demanded justice for one Mia Sun-Mido (nicknamed ‘Sunny’) who was allegedly KIDNAPPED by the turncoat capes of the Golden Age Heroes! Councilman Forrester decried the GAH as villains, demanding an immediate investigation of the suspicious supergroup!
Leading PPD Investigators Randin Kaye and Aurellis Blackstone were briefly present at the rally where they were questioned by the Councilman regarding the PPD’s UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENCE in their failure to find Sunny and indict the GAH. The Councilman was backed-up by celebrity hero Illustrious Solaris, who voiced his support for the initiative to prosecute the GAH and questioned the ability of Paragon’s finest to adequately handle the investigation. Their concerns were echoed by Forrester’s supporters in the crowd, who led a righteous chant against the PPD officers! Clearly unnerved, Officer Blackstone had the gall to call Councilman Forrester “A BLOODY C*NT!” He immediately withdrew and declined for further comment. Officer Kaye had only this to say:
“Neither Councilman Forrester nor his supporters have any jurisdiction to investigate this case in any official manner. This is about a missing girl - not a political agenda. Our investigation is ongoing and we’re doing our best to find Sunny. Now get that goddamn camera out of my-”
Officer Kaye declined for further comment.
Councilman Forrester gave several inspiring speeches to his supporters, vowing to continue his search for Sunny and demanding the indictment of the GAH. Over the course of the rally, his speeches broadened into a general demand for superhero accountability. “They fly around this city unsupervised and accountable to virtually NO ONE! There must be a reckoning!”
Will the PPD continue to FAIL in finding an innocent, kidnapped girl? How will Councilman Forrester circumvent their ineptitude to rescue her from the clutches of the GAH? UPDATE
The protest heated up later in the day, with an increasingly agitated crowd facing off. Some members supported the Golden Age Heroes, but a large number called out for indictments. Some members of the Golden Age Heroes themselves Tensions grew so heated at one point, a woman dressed in black struck Councilman Forrester right across the face, saying something about her own daughter. Councilman Forrester graciously did not press any charges, but the woman was detained and led away by members of the GAH for reasons unspecified.
