Kid Kablam is the first blaster I ever really enjoyed, being a Scrappaholic. I wanted to do something a little different. I thought an interesting idea would be a teenage kid whose mutation was a slight detriment, but not horribly emotionally scarring. I wanted conflict, not emo. I soon tired of not being able to talk, and caved to hand-wave fixes. I marginally regret it.

Kid Kablam is a relatively nice kid, whose time as a mute has really molded him into an inward thinker. His marriage to the most brash loudmouth in Paragon City has somewhat emboldened him to speak his mind more often.
