Pre-Paragon City
Kimberlina was born and raised in the city of Angel Grove in the state of California. There she lived, played and went to school. On one fateful day, an unnatural earthquake hit the city of Angel Grove. During this crisis, her and four of her friends were transported away where a powerful wizard and his robot assistant gave them powers (in the form of power coins) and explained to them that this earth quake was under attack by a recently freed evil sorceress, and to use their power they simply had to raise their coins to the sky and call upon the power of which they represented. For a short time, Kimberlina fought along side her friends, but the evil sorceress had other plans. In one of her attacks, she forced Kimberlina's coin to merge with her body, in hopes that the power would consume and destroy her. It almost worked, but the wizard, using his own power, suppressed Kimberlina's power deep within her. He explained to Kim that it would not remained suppressed forever and would slowly begin to resurface. Futhermore, it was also entirely Kim's responsibility to train and use her powers for good. For a short period of time, she resumed living a normal life: school, chores, friends. Then it began to happen: her powers began to return. Kim knew what she had to do. She dropped her life and left for Paragon City, where she could use and train her powers in the fight against evil.
Paragon City
Shortly after arriving in Paragon City, she was taken in by a supergroup known as Insanity's Child. The helped and guided Kimberlina along her journey. With their help and the help of some friends she made on her own, she trained and grew into the hero she has become today. Although she continues to grow and train her powers, she has begun to kick back, relax and enjoy life and her surroundings.
Post-Paragon City?
At one point in her journey, Kimberlina was offered to have her abilities removed and to become a regular human. She declined at the time but has always wondered what it would be like to go back to her old life. Or to even start life anew elsewhere, maybe even not on Earth. She heard of something mentioned once of a project that is under construction known as the "jumpgate;" a device to allow travel between the stars. If given the chance, she would gladly give up her powers to explore the depths of space.
Personality
Since arriving in Paragon City, Kim has become very quiet and reserved to those outside her supergroup. She does frequently attend the club Pocket D, though she tends to watch and observe others or stare quietly out through the glass into the void. She is extremely curious to learn and meet others but also extremely shy and reserved.

Combat Abilities
Kimberlina has been classified as a Energy/Energy Blaster and her specialties include dealing ludicrous amount of damage to both single targets and many targets. She also can fly, transport team mates to her one at a time and even boost her and her teammates' power by using good tactics and planning an assault. Although she can use her powers at any time, she is still in the habit of morphin' to access them as she once did back in Angel Grove.
