• Hero Biography: "Liberty's Twilight, secretly Professor Aaron Burr of American History at the Croatoa campus of PCU, has fought crime across the country and across the pages of time. Finding a magical book that transformed the aging Revolutionary Freedom Fighter into the hero he is today, Aaron seeks to uphold justice and fight against oppression until his dying breath."

Aaron Burr as he calls himself now has lived since the American Revolution. Having found a book which granted him immortality and powers to fight against the corruption of liberty and freedom in the world, he quietly changed identities through the years and costumes as the times changed around him.

In present-day Paragon, Liberty's Twilight seeks to fight against oppression and tyranny in a new way. His lone-wolf tactics have earned him little more than stunning defeat after stunning defeat at the hands of the worlds new breed of villains and dictators. With the United Sentinels of America, he seeks to do more than help the few he stumbles upon. He seeks to make the world a better place as a part of something greater.

• Personality: Aaron lives his secret identity as a scholar and a recluse, seeking the quiet of his own thoughts when in civilian life. As Liberty's Twilight, he is a completely different person; something closer to his true nature. He smiles, he laughs, he welcomes challenges and isn't afraid to speak his mind. He's a cheerful person that would sooner grin than scowl, and outgoing enough to risk himself for others. His manners are a bit off, and he sometimes seems to act as if he were in another time, but the wonder he still feels in the modern world makes up for it.

• Powers: The nature and the effect of Aaron's powers are two very different things. Imbued with a magical power over life and death, but without the knowledge of how to use it, Aaron has only just begun to delve deeper than "Hit foe, repeat" as a means of combating the forces of evil. The nature of his powers are of his own immortality. The book which he found (or which found him) connected him subtly to life and death; as long as he does not kill a foe, he will live eternal. To kill someone would be to lose his powers, and forfeit his life. He does not know this, however, as his powers do not allow him to use them to kill someone. His own moral convictions prevent him from taking a more practical path towards homicide. The effect of his powers are obvious. He drains the very life from his foes, only for it to replenish in them later. He drains them of their powers and abilities, of their thoughts and feelings, and leaves them alive but unable to fight back or even remain conscious. These return to them within the space of a few hours, sooner for more powerful foes, and the process leaves no permanent damage. During the process, between the point which his powers apply and the point which they take effect, his opponent suffers difficulty simply aiming. The tenebrous tentacles, murky black energy, and violet haze all impede their ability to land a blow.

• OOC: Hi! I'm the player, Aetherine. A lot of that info above is a mix of IC and OOC information; anything about Twilight's true nature or secret identity is obviously OOC, while information about past incarnations will be on the virtueverse page sometime soonishly. I'm a member of Hyperion Force, the player of The Cobalt Streak. I run a pair of accounts, @Aetherine and @Mergandisevender. Feel free to contact me on either of these for an interview or just a chance to group and RP, as I'd love to connect Aaron to the group through some interaction before joining. I'd like to join because, well, I've always wanted to try the "All American Hero" concept out, but I can't stand MA/SR and Super Soldiers are a dime a dozen. I've always wanted to try a Scrapper, but never could dedicate myself to a theme. And I'd like to see how the Sentinels are, even if we all don't end up in a closed Coalition.
