Major Flagg was originally created by Tom (player) on the Victory Server, as a background character for the origin of US Trooper. He was re-created on Virtue as a member of the newly formed Barnstormers, a "Pulp-Inspired" supergroup. Later, the Victory version of Dynamo-Man was transported to Virtue and re-made into the current Major Flagg. That version has since been re-sent back to Victory. Major Flagg's main influences include Captain America, Nick Fury and Mr. Incredible.

Personality

Major Flagg is a tough soldier, and a veteran of many battles. He is a strict disciplinarian in the field, but off-duty, or during down-time, he is somewhat of a jokester. He makes friends easily, and is loyal to a fault. His greatest love is his country, and he would lay down his life for it without hesitation.

Character History

Robert G. Flagg, at the age of 29, enlisted in the Army in March of 1942, and served with the 101st Airborne until Operation: Market Garden in 1944. There he was grievously wounded, but survived to be treated at a military hospital, and was to be discharged from duty. While recovering, then Sergeant Flagg was approached by men in suits and asked to volunteer for a program called Project: Counterstrike. Seeing it as a chance to get back in the fight, he agreed, and underwent treatment at a secret military installation. When he came out he was tougher, stronger and more resilient than any other soldier the world had ever seen. He was given advanced tactical training, promoted to Major and placed in charge of an elite squad of five soldiers from other allied countries. They named themselves The Fighting Five, and took the fight to the Germans, often running afoul of the German super soldiers known as the Supermänner.

When the War ended, the Five were disbanded and relegated to Inactive Ready Reserve. But Major Flagg still pursues the ideals of truth, liberty and justice, and takes the fight to any enemy necessary.

The "treatments" Flagg went through caused his aging to slow dramatically. He now only ages 1 year physically for every 20 he lives. So, in 1942 he was 32, but now he is physiologically only 35. Over the course of his long life, he has also spent many years not actively pursuing a heroic career. He has worked as a construction worker, an explorer, a bodyguard and a security consultant. However, he has taken part in many military conflicts including the Korean War, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.

He has lost contact with rest of the Fighting Five over the years, and he believes most of them are currently deceased. He has not pulled his old uniform out of storage in more than ten years.

Powers

As a result of the treatment he received from Project: Counterstrike, Major Flagg possesses superior durability, and strength enabling him to lift approximately 10 tons (20,000 pounds) over his head under optimal conditions.

Abilities

Major Flagg has been trained in hand-to-hand combat, military weapons and tactics, and airborne operations. Though he remains proficient with all manner of weapons, when not involved in a military conflict, Major Flagg prefers to fight with his bare hands.
