While originally Recharged was not supposed to exist in any dimension aside from Primal Earth, his creator eventually decided that his initial idea was too restrictive. He created Marks as a Praetorian of Recharged and to create an addition foil for him.

Personality
Little more than a common thug, Marks has one goal: to get as much out of life as he can before he dies again. He spends every waking minute doing what he loves best, fighting and flirting. While he will not go out of his way to harm innocents, he puts his own enjoyment above all and will not feel any remorse over the pain of others.
Powers
Unknown to him, Marks has an inherent ability to copy and absorb various forms of energy.
Plant Control
Copying the biological energy of the roots that covered his grave, Marks can produce numerous plants from his body. By manipulating the combinations of plant life, he can create spores that put his foes to sleep, wrap them in vines, or grow a tree with regenerative leaves. When not in combat, he prefers to produce roses with enchanting spores that he uses in his flirting.
Energy Assault
Marks enhances his normal fisticuffs with kinetic energy, adding to them extra power. He can also focus his energy into ranged blasts or strengthen the plants he creates, giving them longer life to better hinder his foes.
Flight
Through manipulation of energy and with the aid of multiple small leaves for lift, Nod is able to push himself through the air.
Character History
On Praetorian Earth, after NeverDark died, he was buried. Shortly afterwards, he subconsciously revived himself. He found himself cured of his vampirism, and instead of his dark energy, Nod had control over plants. Realizing that he had somehow gained a second chance at life, he decided to stop throwing himself into danger for the sake of people he had never met and ditched his previous hero identity. Buying himself a pair of sunglasses and a leather jacket and getting a series of tatoos, he devoted the rest of his life to enjoying himself to the fullest. While attempting to seduce one of the scientists working at Portal Corp, he managed to accidentally send himself to Primal Earth. Picked up by Don Giordano, he now works for the Giordano Family, breaking faces, romancing women, and living it up.
