The Knights of Albion

Ms London

((Ms London was my third idea, and first actual attempt, to create a patriotically themed character for a group of magic-related characters from around the British Isles.))

Appearance

Ms London appears to be a young woman, around her mid-twenties in age, of mixed race, (probably West Indies genestock). She has a strongly noticeable London accent that most would describe as Cockney, and no trace of any other accent. Her hair is always immaculate, straight, and worn in short, tight styles.

Ms London wears a tight costume based upon the emblem of the City of London. Her costume represents the red cross on white field of the flag of St George, her belt buckle features a sword, and a royal lion rampant is emblazoned in gold on her chest.

Personality

Ms London is, probably subconsciously, a classic Londoner, viewing all persons from any lesser place as less fortunate (or less able) individuals. To a Londoner, virtually any other place than London is a lesser place. This air of assumed superiority is unintentional, but often notable. She unconciously judges people she meets as to whether they could get along in London, or not.

Ms London is confident and feisty. She will have a go at almost any task, however great the challenge, with her usual confident, go-getter attitude.

Ms London is not someone people are likely to describe as an intellectual. Not that she is in any way uneducated or unintelligent, but more that she comes from a place where 'street smarts' are viewed as far more important than 'book smarts'. Street smarts she has in spades, and with the aid of her geas, she is gifted with surprisingly good strategic, tactical and leadership abilities. When she can keep her gung-ho nature in check.

Ms London is generally chatty, but is sometimes prone to essentially meaningless chatter. She is friendly, though prone to teasing banter that can border on the outrageously offensive, all meant in good nature.

She is loyal and protective, vivacious and full of energy, and surprisingly capable and powerful. Much like the city she represents.

Affiliations and Friends

Ms London is a member of the Knights of Albion supergroup from the United Kingdom. She is with a detachment of the Knights of Albion that are currently on a mission to Paragon City.

Other members of the group that she has been seen in action with include:Lord Britanic, Dragon Chief, The Dolmen, Ryan Moriarty, Moonlight Poacher and Blade Britannia.

Motivation

Under a powerful geas that bestowed her powers, Ms London feels compelled to protect the innocent, and defend her allies.

While certainly not unaware of the dangers and hardships of heroism, she does enjoy her role and the fame it has brought her.

Abilities

Ms London's powers came with her geas. She is a magically empowered defender of the people.

City Walls: Ms London is able to create mystical barriers around allies to protect them.

City Smog: Summons misty smog around herself that can hide and protect herself and her allies.

Additionally, she wields the power to attack foes with mystical bolts that combine subsonic and ultrasonic resonance force waves. Not only do these bolts of power hit hard, they seem to dramatically weaken and soften her target to all further attacks.

Pace of the City: Ms London can move at superspeed, and can hasten her other actions.

A Lodestone Brooch: This jewellery device is also magical in nature and allows communication between members of The Knights of Albion, as well as entrance to the "Ley Tunnels" which connect the physical world with their extra-dimensional base in The Lady's Castle.

• Ms London is a full-time Heroine, given a grant by several london authorities, including the Lambeth Borough Council, and the City of London Corporation, which they do for general good PR and for various public appearances.

• Ms London features on a wide variety of London souvenier postcards and tee-shirts as one of the sights of the city.

• Ms London is just one of a number of London superheroes, and she has some minor rivalry issues with both Captain Capitol and The Southwark Siren.

• Ms London has taken part in the London Marathon for the past 4 years, mostly in zooming back and forth to help the event along, and to support the public in their own heroic endeavor.

• Ms London doesn't like bats (or "bleedin' flyin' rats" as she calls them).
