Niece
Curious and possessing a bubbly personality, the young woman's eyes are always wide and full of life. Dressed in less traditional clothing in comparison to the big-time heroes, and doesn't really seem to fully understand the concept of heroism and villainy. She assists on a whim out of personal compassion or disgust of the situation, but is prone to passing up things that are frowned upon if she isn't aware of them.
History
First discovered wandering the streets dressed in rags, Alice was the supposed "niece" of a middle-aged scientist quietly pursuing the works of Doctor Vahzilok's works underground in his very own makeshift laboratory down in the basement of his house. His life's work was put into creating something more or less of "spare parts" for future experiments since he didn't agree with the hassle of abducting people off the streets.
He found the practice unethical but the "greater good" and knowledge gained at the end was what made it worthwhile. Artificially-created people just aren't people at all in his mind; and he actually hoped to create something without much of a personality either if truth be told. A lump of human-shaped flesh would do, one that constantly regenerates itself with everything needed to carry on the Vahzilok works without the screams and the being beat down by local authorities--both the super and non-super variety.
He dubbed the creation both a success and failure at the same time when Alice came to be fully formed. She did, unfortunately, have a personality and seemed to border between being living thing and being an object at times since she was rather talkative and behaved just as a developing human child would... only taking three steps back with every step forward.
Alice's memory and attention span are absolutely atrocious and she is prone to forgetting things within a day or two to just ten seconds from the occurrence.
She took on the alias of his niece when she was found wandering by neighbors in the front yard and eating grass off their lawn, after all, he -had- to come up with an explanation for the peculiar situation. That day, she was the day she was truly born, being given a name and a false place in the society around her, as well as having seen the "outside world" for the first time with her very own eyes... only to forget it later, of course.
Her "Uncle" was able to extract the spare parts from her in a very painful manner, the experiments were excruciating and it was only a blessed thing that she could not remember them later after she healed. Alice's mind had slowly begun to become more broken than it already was at "birth" from the pain.
Though she was not able to remember the physical memories of what happened to her, she could always feel something troubling her deeply and subconsciously. There would be wild fear visible in her eyes when the gleam of surgical equipment enters her general area, and will cause her extreme psychological and emotional discomfort.
Has witnessed many Vahzilok creations first-hand and finds them disturbing. Alice possesses trouble fighting them or even looking at them to this day, tends to hate going into sewers especially because of this.
The fateful day finally came when she was due for another organ extraction... knowing what was to come and feeling it in her very bones, she had violently lashed out back against her creator. The level of destruction that fell upon the lab resulted in the entire area catching ablaze and the middle-aged scientist trapped within it to perish with all of his life's works--except the one that got away.
Unbeknownst to Alice, she has a remarkably short lifespan and is not destined to live for long... unless a cure can be found for her slowly deteriorating body. Only her creator knew this and had tried to make the best of the situation while in the process of creating another after the prototype, it was not known if that survived as well or not. There are some scraps of written reports that still exist today and are loosely connected to her... but it never really made the headlines.
Ever since her escape, she took to the streets in rags and was found beating the ever-loving snot out of a misfortunate Reaper who had assaulted a local woman. When asked of her name, she couldn't remember one and only said to "Ask her Uncle", and had since then just been referred to as "the Niece".
Personality
Very out-going and fun-loving, Alice is usually found in Pocket D at times to people-watch. She has a very forgetful personality and sometimes has trouble paying attention and may wander off in the middle of a conversation to start a new one.
She is very interested in listening to other people and seeks to understand more about them, somewhere deep down she knows that she doesn't belong, but doing this helps her feel as if she does relate somehow. Alice usually has these conversations in hopes of finding someone more like her.
Though she is very enthusiastic and cheerful, she is also a very lonely character on the inside and hates the fact that she can forget the people she's met.
Her most effective method of remembering people is by what they've fed her. "Oh! You must be the person who fed me that cookie yesterday, thank you!"
Quirks
Alice has some serious personality flaws that can be found in the above, but this one is a direct side-effect of her regeneration ability. She has a fast metabolism to and must eat constantly to sustain herself. Tends to eat for a family of five on a regular basis and can drive a restaurant out of business if they choose to open an all-you-can-eat buffet around her or reward her heroic acts with the equivalent of such.
She becomes very weak at first if she is too hungry, she later will become irrational and won't turn her nose away from the idea of cannibalism if it reaches that point. Luckily she usually prefers to look around everywhere else first and attempt to eat questionable/inedible objects before she attempts/thinks of anything like that. This may probably only occur if she has been critically for a long time injured and needs to heal ASAP.
The rest of her personality quirks just have to do with eating habits that would make an etiquette teacher fume like never before, not so much a slob than just something shoveling food down at a rapid pace. Actually seldom leaves a mess since -everything- is eaten.

Weapon History
Alice's weapons consists of two blades--a tanto and a katana. Both were given to her as a gift from an old retired hero after watching her run about in her antics on the streets, performing actions of heroism without even knowing what they were. There was a small bit of the hero's heart that thought of her like a grand-daughter and passed on his spare equipment to her before he died.
The Crimson Butterfly Wing's
Tanto--(Broken Butterfly Wing)
This deep crimson blade has no magical powers of any sort, the material is highly durable and polished to give off that ominous and breath-taking shine. It is carried in Alice's right hand and used primarily for close combat and viciously violent attacks. It is sheathed to her left hip.
It was rumored to formerly be a katana as well, but it had been shattered in a battle before and had since then been fashioned to the weapon you see today.
Katana--(Left Butterfly Wing)
Made of the same material as the tanto, but carried in her left hand. Alice is left-handed and the blade reflects it well. It is very deadly and sharp, always kept to a razor's edge and sheathed at her right side.
Weaknesses
She is very naive and easily to string along if you are not evil in the most obvious sense. Her bad memory can be counted against her at times as well.
Primary weakness is hunger--leaving her without food for a prolonged period of time will put her in a dormant state. Alice will be unable to regenerate without eating, and lower temperatures tends to slow down the workings of her biology as well. Unfortunately this also counts as her strength because before she reaches that state of starvation... she is prone to becoming incredibly violent and desperate which grants her a surprising last-ditch effort type of power to give it her all.
Cannot be hurt by physical means, but magic can hit the spot. No injury is permanent except psychological.
Other
Very flexible DNA that can bind with other biological objects. Limbs can be cut off from other sources and attached to her if she cuts herself open and places it together and allows it to heal in place. Her body's nervous system will naturally adjust and adapt to it.
She can potentially become a monster and a freak of nature by appearance but usually applies this ability to her fashion sense and wears little wings and other attachments like tails or ears because "they looked cute."
Likewise she can remove them by cutting them off, she possesses very high pain tolerance so it doesn't bother her as much.
