Operative Lascivia is a very lewd individual. She often tells dirty jokes, makes obvious double entendres, and flirts shamelessly with nearly anyone. For a Soldier of Arachnos, she seems a little out of place in that she does not enjoy killing, but this is only because she thinks it to be wasted potential opportunity. In fact, the more attractive a target is, the more likely she is to let him or her live --though she is not above taking prisoners and exercising all manner of torture, especially if it means a chance to have some fun. Professionally, she will turn on anyone to further her own agendas which may or may not coincide with that of Lord Recluse at any given time.

Lasiciva is a tall, dark haired woman with a beauty mark just above her lip. Her official Arachnos Widow uniform has been altered so that it is pink with red boots, gloves, and detailing; however, she only wears it when on official business that requires her to be in uniform. Typically, she wears a gossamer pink robe with white ruffles over a red leather heart-themed dominatrix costume. This is her preferred manner of dress for both professional and personal time, though she can occasionally dress down when something less eye-catching is required. Additionally, she sometimes takes on the identity of Saturnalia, a mysterious vigilante from the west coast. In this guise, she wears a revealing black costume with the Greek symbol for Saturn emblazoned on her chest. The hero costume also features a full-length cape that is black with red-satin lining, a red visor covering half her face, and she also styles her hair differently than normal.

Lascivia's "powers" come from her night widow training. She has exceptional charisma which works well with her leadership training to make her a very successful field commander. She is also honing her mental prowess and melee skills so that she can work equally well alone as she does with others even though she prefers to use her talents in a group.

Access to a standard Arachnos medical teleporter, jetpack, and various other gadgets which have been begged, borrowed, and even stolen are at her disposal.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Having no true powers, Operative Lascivia possesses no actual vulnerabilities to exploit. However, she does occasionally fall for a pretty face or ruggedly handsome body which leaves her looking for ways to spare her opponent in a manner which doesn't suggest weakness. She has been warned occasionally for such behavior, though she usually finds some other way to make it up to her superiors.

Character History

Janice Lascivia worked as a "professional escort" out of a casino in St. Martial until one of Recluse's Fortunata's had an encounter with her. She sensed great potential in the prostitute and offered to get her placed in standard widow training as payment for her services. Lascivia agreed and began her career with Arachnos, looking for ways to fast-track her way into important positions and opportunities for promotion within the ranks. Her willingness to operate as a bedroom spy initially made her a favorite pawn of some of the higher ranking operatives, though they soon began to feel uncomfortable with that role as it made them wonder if she was also spying on them for someone else within the organization. It wasn't long before she slept her way on to the "Destined One" list which put her in a position to dictate her own future for a change. She has spent more and more time fraternizing with organizations outside Arachnos, telling her superiors that she is pretending to get her foot in the door so she can gather intel.

Lascivia is occasionally required to go undercover and poses as a super hero named Saturnalia. Her cover story in this identity is that of a mysterious masked woman from the west coast who came to Paragon City to investigate the disappearance of some person or important object which may have found its way to the Rogue Isles. She pretends to be a claws scrapper with low-level telepathic abilities. She tries to tone down her outrageous behavior while in costume, but finds herself slipping more and more the longer she's forced to maintain the role.

Exploits in Paragon City

Saturnalia usually operates as a hero in the Rogue Isles but occasionally slips into Paragon City. Her objectives vary, sometimes using her cover as a means to scout out a bank robbery in advance or just to engage in illicit activity with whomever strikes her fancy any given day. While there, she has subverted weapons deals and "rescued" kidnap victims from other villains only to use them to her own advantage later on.
