"Sir! We have arrived at point Alpha. We have yet to encounter any resistance as of yet. The Kora Fruit is in sight--- wait a minute.. Sir, there is a ... a child covered in blood right by the fruit... Wait, Hostiles incoming, they're going to swarm the child! ...No.. What!? This boy.. he's... he's ......." - Transmission Terminated.

- Bravo Team Commander, Storm Palace.

Oracle Void, my first Arachnos Widow, I had decided that he was going to be a Fortunata, however, with a total lack of an explanation in-game of why males were all of a sudden becoming Night Widows and Fortunatas, I simply went with the idea that he was 'missing' until he had hit level 24 and branched into a Fortunata. I was going for the whole Onmyoji / Classical Elements with the prophecy bit, thus why the name "Oracle Void", Oracle representing the future and "Void" representing the "Fifth" element also known as Sky, Heaven, Aeon and Quintessence.

I'm not really too sure why I went with the whole 'weird' background and that everything that was normal to him was abnormal, maybe just a feeling, or maybe it's just something I seem to do all too often. So, I guess I took that weird part of me that I tend to enjoy so much and went with it. I also choose the huge Rularuu focus, due to the fact you don't see many character based after it, so, I figured with that focus and his loyalty to Arachnos, it might make an interesting character. I also gave him a large PvP focus, to really add in the whole: "Arachnos vs Longbow" idea that tends to go on in the PvP zones.

The main source of inspiration that came from Oracle Void however, would be the Strider Hiryu manga, as there are a good deal of hidden nods to it and the whole series hidden through out the Oracle Void story. In essence, the best way I could describe Oracle Void in a sentence or elevator pitch scenario would be: "Think Alice in Wonderland meets the video game "Strider."

A good team of the information that will be following is accessible to anyone in the Arachnos organization with a high enough clearance.

Contents

The First Strand of Fate

"That boy... Living proof that the mind is indeed the most powerful weapon of all."

- Operative Zen, after witnessing a mass psychic interrogation of an invading Longbow Unit.

All records of Void's birth and parents were destroyed in accordance to a certain black-ops Arachnos mission, which to this day, has yet to be discovered. However, word of mouth escapes, and even some people have the highest amount of clearance. On paper, the story is quite simple. Void is a model citizen who discarded his name to strengthen the bond and his loyalty to Arachnos, a perfect model teenager for all the young Spiderling Scouts to grow up and hope to become. Off-Paper, while Arachnos youthful poster boy is indeed a model citizen, the fact is, his life and how everything came to be was much more complication, but, isn't that how it always is in the end?

The truth is Void is a generational member of Arachnos, his family roots taking hold as deep as the organization's beginnings, both of Void's parents were in Arachnos, as his grandparents, their parents and so on. Service into Arachnos was nothing but expected and it was an honor to finally make it into the Corps. What made Void's birth and early childhood life so odd was two things. First, Void was born on a mission in the Shadow Shard. A month unexpected, Scientists believe that perhaps the extra dimensional world had some sort of influence upon his mother. The second oddity of his birth is that right away, even as a baby, he demonstrated powerful psychic abilities. What made this confusing was, nowhere in his family line did anyone have even the slightest hint of psychic potential.

With Void's parents often working, it wasn't uncommon to see Void out and about in the Grandville central tower, watching his parents, the Arachnobots or other individuals doing their job. Normally, this wasn't tolerated, however, the fact at the young age of 3, he was already well behaved, and his white hair caused him to stand out, most people simply ignored the boy's presence. Survivors of the PT-1X01 Attack still recall him wandering about, trying to help out whoever needed it, by bringing food, supplies, drinks or whatever else they needed, and note that despite all the years that have passed, he still seems to be the same child as before.

The Longbow Portal invasion, codenamed PT-1X01 was what changed Void's life, and truly alerted Arachnos to Void's potential. Longbow, using Portal Corp Technology hi-jacked a prototype Arachnos portal and invaded with unknown intentions. During the crossfire that soon broke out, both of Void's parents were killed in the ensuing battle, which in turn, caused Void to release his first mass-scale psychic call. This strange psychic wail destroyed the minds of the invading Longbow, turning them into nothing more then a comatose pile of flesh and blood. The few Longbow who returned to try to save their comrades were met with another invasion force, a group of Rularuu creatures, mostly Overseers and Wisps, who destroyed the remaining force, and then took young Void into the portal back with them. This would mark the last time anyone would see Void, until 12 years later.

The Eye of Fate

"..Everything here in the Shadow Shard is just crazy. It's.. just kinda sad when you find a small boy, and he tries to rip your head open with his mind... I really hate this place."

- Major Thompson, Firebase Zulu.

For reasons only that Void and the odd creatures of the Shadow Shard know, Void was taken into the odd dreamlike world. Not that he had much else going for him back in Grandville at the time. This odd world would be Void's new home, his training ground and his hunting grounds. He seemed to adjust to the complete lifestyle change rather quickly, but, perhaps all children are just resourceful like that. Despite he fact he had a large amount of dream-like entities as his allies, the Shadow Shard was still an unforgiving world, attacks from other creatures, invading soldiers, and other nightmare like things was all too common place, forcing Void to adapt the ever popular motto that Arachnos tends to belief in: "Strongest of the fittest." Growing up, Void always gave off the appearance of frail, weak, ill-capable of protecting himself, this illusion however, was one of his strongest weapons that he uses to this day.

Void was in constant training since he arrived, the Wisps assisted the boy in controlling his psychic potential, the Overseers helped focus his mind to always be alert and watchful, the Naterlings taught him how to survive, how to find anything you want and to make use of it, and the Brutes helped work on his ability to take pain. Many surprised would-be heroes who spotted a brute pounding the small boy would be surprised to come save him, only for the small boy to attack them, WITH the brute's help of all things. Eventually, spotting Void in the Shadow Shard become a bit of a myth among the Firebase Zulu workers and the few hidden Arachnos groups. In essence, their very own ghost story, the "white haired Rularuu" boy. A spy who came the closest to making true contact with the boy observed a group of wisps speaking with the boy, calling him the name G'nyaskrnattu, however, when the agent made the mistake of speaking it out loud, it alerted the young boy and his group. The agent was discovered a week later clenching his head mumbling the name over and over again, claiming that was the 'ghost boy's name.

G'nyaskrnattu, the Nightmare Boy

"Sir! We have reports of the white haired child again. Storm Palace, Night Widow Kasandra mentions she saw him training with those.. Overseer things."
"...Thanks to that silly ghost story.. we found you Void, or should I say G'nyaskrnattu.. No matter.. it's time to come home.."

- Operative Lilakra

The next ten years of G'nyaskrnattu's life went by, as they always have since he first arrived. A good deal of training, pain, only to repeat the process as soon as the second step was over. A non-stop cycle, only interrupted by heroes, soldiers, and Arachnos all trying to find the mystery kid. Now a teen however, his powers only amplified, at the cost of a few things. Most of which, make sense only to G'nyaskrnattu himself. The first major change was, he simply stopped talking physically all together, being in a constant psychic network resulted in the teen deciding that vocal speech was not only distracting, but a serious weakness if it was to be overheard by any potential enemy. The second major thing, that most outsiders spot first, is the fact he's almost constantly injuried, from injuries suffered in battle to self-inflicted damage, the most extreme being having sewn his own eyes and mouth shut himself. Once again, no one has really asked why he did such things, just the sight of him doing such or covered in blood resulted in those questions pushed away never to be asked.

Still, with the constant fighting, the constant pain, G'nyaskrnattu's own powers were sky rocketing due to the intense non-stop training, and some of the tricks and powers he has, he still uses to this day.

The Eye that Devours Knowledge

" . . . . . . . . . . . . . "

- G'nyaskrnattu / Void.

The first psychic technique that G'nyaskrnattu began to use often on outsiders, was what he dubbed: "The Eye that Devours Knowledge", it's a mental technique in which a mental scan of the target's mind is made, searching for a specific event, knowledge, or other key memory parts. Then, what follows was only described as: "Having a knife cut into your brain, and then having it ripped right out", G'nyaskrnattu extracts the chosen knowledge to use it for himself. The primary purpose that he has used this was to extract language, code, and true mission orders from Invaders of the Shadow Shard. There, the information would be spread telepathically across the Shadow Shard, disrupting key operations in a matter of seconds.

The Eye that Devours Fate

"What could wrong!? You're that stupid to ask that again after everything that's been happening!?"

- Private Jackson, Shadow Shard 105th.

The Eye that Devours Fate is another psychic skill that G'nyaskrnattu learned in the Shadow Shard, in essence, by 'rewriting' fate itself, he can adjust fate to become harsher or kinder to individuals or a group. In his belief, it's that those truly destined to be blessed by Fate will be able to overcome it's obstacles, no matter how impossible, or how easy.

The Eye that Devours Dreams

"Arachnos!? Here!?" "....I pray this kid was telling the truth... here comes nothing. Longbow 95th, Lady Ghost Widow invites you to her tower.."
"We are honored and yours to command."
"...The hell?"

- Huntsman Juno. To his surprise to see the 95th Unit submit after speaking a single sentence.

The Eye that Devours Dreams is a psychic technique used to invade the subject's mind and in essence, to reprogram the target. He can literally add memories, experiences, knowledge and transform a person in a matter of minutes, or even add 'command phrases' to overwrite the distinct personality code. Even going as far as creating alternate identities or "ID" factors for an individual. The technique has even seemingly been used successfully on non-living entities such as robots, leaving witnesses baffled to just how exactly it works, or if it's even psychic in nature at all.

Fortunata G'nyaskrnattu, the Oracle of Arachnos

"Welcome home.. your sisters and brothers of the Fortunata Corp welcome you with open arms."

- Fortunata Amanda

A total of twelve years of time in the Shadow Shard had went by, and for G'nyaskrnattu, everything was perfect. His psychic powers were only growing in strength, his physical training was coming along, but, his visions displayed his own destiny to him. For the time being, until Arachnos' glory is fulfilled, he must return back to Grandville, his home away from home, in essence. What resulted, was an attack on Firebase Zulu that many were not ready for, the infamous "Ghost Boy" had brought an entire legion of Rularuu with him and began spreading a wave of destruction that none of the denizens have seen before. The whole goal, was to provide G'nyaskrnattu with the distraction to invade a mole point, and send himself back to Grandville, and in a matter of minutes, the attack was over much to the baffling surprise of those involved. G'nyaskrnattu had accomplished his goal and was on his way back to Grandville.

Waiting on the other side of the portal, was Fortunata Amanda, who had foreseen his return and was waiting for him. Upon such, the boy was escorted back to Mercy to undergo a quick evaluation of his current skills, and to formally enter the generational back into the service of Arachnos. To G'nyaskrnattu, this was as fate was to be, that his destiny was to bring Arachnos to perfection. His psychic powers were top of his class, if not beyond that, however, the concerns from his Commanding Officers were, the fact, despite looking (other then the stitches in his face) human, he didn't --act-- human. During his schooling, he answered telepathically, he did everything like he would have in the Shadow Shard, which did not mesh well, including using the given name of G'nyaskrnattu, which most people were outright unable to pronounce the same way every time.

As such, a good deal of Void's reeducation focused on speaking, acting and fitting in, and not acting like he once did. Now using birth name by request, his assimilation into society was coming along slowly, but awkwardly more then anything. Speech is a challenge for him, and he doesn't understand the point of such, when a mind link or telepathy accomplishes the same thing, but more efficiency and selective. Even the concept of relaxation was challenging and still is this day to him. Still, Void's return to Arachnos is a good sign, and his psychic skills were deemed too valuable to let go, or to just waste. Once his current schooling was completed, he would be sent off, to bring that destiny he believes is on it's way.

Reflections, One side of the Mirror

"I don't care what he looks like, or if even looked like a giant pink fluffy bunny. He gets what needs to be done and isn't afraid to do what is needed to get said results."

- Operative Taidros.

One of the first things many people notice about Void, is his, unique appearance, even his custom Fortunata armor stands out. But, under the armor, there's a fifteen year old boy, who looks more like he's thirteen covered in blood with that flawless long white hair. He might have qualified to be one of those 'pretty boys' if it wasn't for the fact his eyes and face have literally been sewn shut, by himself none the less. His body just radiates to the untrained eye, that he just could topple over dead any minute and that something like a common cold could end his life. Operative Grillo once mentioned that the boy's eyes were a perfect emerald green, with the sort of stare that he's looking right into your soul. Though, further attempts to ask upon that tends to be met with silence. Still, with that, it only has led to more questions, the main one being "Why?" To which, Void has reapplied: "...My.. eyes.. are.. dangerous.." Further explanations has yet to be given by Void or anyone else.

The Dark Side of the Mirror

"...Geez.. What's next? A swim in lava? Swallowing a grenade?"

- Unknown Wolf Spider. Commenting after watching Void's training session.

Void's thoughts are often keep to himself, probably for good reason, but his training sessions tend to be in public eye of his fellow Arachnos soldiers, though, few ever do decide to train with him. On a dedicated training day, his schedule starts off with a fasting, followed by about 3 hours of mental meditation. Right after that, he begins his toughness training, which includes punching metal walls as hard as he can with his fingers. Another 2 hours, and he begins to use his fists instead, and after an unknown amount of time, he repeats the process, only with his toes and feet instead. After-such, he finds individuals willing to attack him with whatever they can grab. Fists, swords, staffs, telephone poles, whatever can be used as a weapon, he allows it to come at him.

By this point, if he not collapsed, he moves on to live combat training. Including whatever missions he needs to have finished. Void also includes various other training techniques from traditional exercises, such as jumping rope, to training schedules that a master martial artist would do. Which leads some to believe that Void may be hiding some sort of martial arts background, or at least, stolen mental knowledge of such. As if his commanding officers felt there was a literal danger, they would (hopefully) order him to stop.

Other noted habits include an almost borderline starvation diet, and very little liquid intake. Void has claimed that one must be prepared at all times for the worst possible situation, and that his current training work-out is nothing compared to what he often did back 'home'. Just, he merely lacks what he has had there to work with then he does here. Which has left a few wondering what exactly he means by that.

The Elite, The Wraith Spiders

"Destiny... is right ... here..."

- Void.

In a surprising move to many, the 'lone wolf' Fortunata ended up offering his services, proclaiming it was his destiny to join the Wraith Spiders. That his power and skills would be able to bring the already powerful group to another level. In the child's "eyes", the Wraith Spiders aside from his destiny, is the perfect choice. First, as the honor guard of Lady Ghost Widow, who, like himself, feels to be part of this world, but yet, at the same time, not yet truly one with the world. Second, an Arachnos group that is not consumed with the internal strife and struggling that the other patrons and other organizations present. The group has welcomed the young Fortunata into their ranks, and do not seem offset by any of the boy's quirks from his age, to his speech patterns. All the more reasons that confirm to him that his prophetic vision was correct once again.

The Touch of Rularuu

"I believe it is akin to having a dam block the flow of water. Instead however, replace the water with your ki, and the dam his own ki. Now if you explode or not like in Hokuto no Ken is an entirely different question."

- Arachnos agent Shiro, The boy in white. Explaining the technique to a martial arts hero who fell victim to the technique.

After a good deal of work for the Wraith Spiders, Void would continue his physical training, as if nothing had changed. However, soon after, he would be summoned to Grandville, where he was presented with the choice, who to patron himself too. In Void's mind, the only logical choice would be Ghost Widow. As a result, the choice was made, and Void submitted himself to the Lady's service. Training and hard work always comes to pay off, at the least, karma to return and grant it's reward. As such, and as he has foreseen, that just happened. Ghost Widow had granted Void the ability to refocus his ki into a form of "Reiki" which was much stronger then he had expected, with some unexpected side effects. Void has called this the "Touch of Rularuu", for when he mixes transforms his ki into Reiki, and further imbues it, he can cause a rift of extra planar proportions. The result is the netherworld entities who attempt to drag the victims down, never to return.

The Tangled Web

"It's funny really when you think about it really. We are Arachnos, and when you look at how much influence the organization has had over the years, and the symbols, and you know.. being.. spider based. It seems like we forgot one important through time itself. A spider weaves a web, all the fibers of that web come together to make the goal happen, the less fibers, the weaker it becomes. This inner-organization fighting needs to stop if Arachnos is going to find it's perfection you know?

- Professor Jizo

What makes the Wraith Spiders so appealing, other then the obvious talent that exists within the ranks, is the concept and belief that the inner fighting --cannot-- exist within it's ranks. In Void's eyes, to nurture a weakness, rather then to correct it, is simply inviting failure and for fate to emerge and destroy what chance you had at influencing the world. As such, each spider weaves it's unique fiber, adding to the collective web as a whole, allowing each and every Wraith Spider to draw upon the collective skills, pools, and talents that they may each bring. Everyone has a purpose, and a point to Void.

Void in essence, has a problem at times, explaining things in words, often due to the 12 or so years of pure telepathy and in constant mental contact with the creatures and reflections of the Shadow Shard, as a result, if asked the simplest question such as: "Describe this person to me." Other then a physical description, Void would give concepts, ideals and a mental picture and reasoning for that. Of course, in telepathy terms, it's all at a complete instant. The following which proceeds is in Void's eyes, the best way to describe the fellow Wraith Spiders who he's worked with and had a chance to observe in combat and out of combat. (( More will be added once Void gets a chance to interact with them ))

Night Widow Scourge - "The Shadow Sword that which Pierces Infinity's Midnight" Commander Scourge has radiated a powerful presence to Void. Like a blade made of shadow, she strikes just as swiftly from nowhere, only to be gone in a matter of seconds. Projecting an aura of self-confidence outward, like a shadow, she keeps her personal life private, and as a true leader, she has gone out of her way to train, teach those under her command to work together, to bring out the strengths in everyone and to keep those who lack focus, focused. To Void, she has also gone out of her way to learn about her team, what they are like, what they can bring to the Wraith Spiders, thus reinforcing Void's imagery that not only will she pierce the veil of flesh, but that of the mind as well.

Executioner Void - "Perfection of Skill, the Deliver of Heaven's Mandate" If Commander Scourge was the 'master ninja' in G'nyaskrnattu's eyes, then Void is easily the reflection, the master samurai. The man has shown his experience and wisdom with a swing of his mace, and the way he upholds honor, his duty, respect for both foe and friend in the lines of combat, and not lose yourself to the weakness of the mind, is something G'nyaskrnattu finds worthy. In the boy's eyes, if Void and G'nyaskrnattu were to handle the same task, Void would in essence: "Bring Fate to him" and make what needs to be done, to just happen, where as G'nyaskrnattu would wait about for that sign before proceeding. Void is the type of individual who G'nyaskrnattu claims: "Can shape Fate to their own will." A compliment not given lightly at all.

Into the Rabbit Hole..

"Submit to Master Void. Submit to the Chaos. Submit to his Will. Submit to his Nightmares. Surrender yourself to the Void. Surrender yourself to his Nightmares. ..The Chaos of Night Is Which Shall Devour You.."

- The White Rabbit.

It's not very unusual to see Void surrounded by his entire entourage of companions, and creatures. Arachnos reports that often when Void is meditating or divining the future, these creatures show up to protect him or hunt down very specific targets. What Arachnos scientists have always wondered, is what exactly draws these creatures to Void, and why? Is it his psychic powers, some sort of innate link to others, or maybe something else that has to be due with being raised in the Shadow Shard. However, after much investigation into the matter, soon Arachnos Scientists issued Report WR-01, which states continued investigation of the matter would be met with the most serve punishments. The rumor in the labs state this was because of a visit by the White Rabbit, however, Void claims the White Rabbit would never act against anyone who was truly loyal to Arachnos. Soon afterwards, the Inquisitional Brigade was sent in and all of the lead Scientists were taken in. Interns report hearing the screams of: "We're not traitors..!"

Watchers of the Nightmares, the Overseers

Ok, so I bet you, that if Aliens beam down, demons burst through this fabric of reality, and mutated ninjas break out from the sewers, all chased after Void, and then sat down for tea, it'd be just a normal day for him huh?"

- Huntsman Juno.

The Overseers are the most commonly seen of the so-called Guardians of Void, they often protect the boy when he seems to be interrupting fate, reading the flow and attempting to change said fate. What makes them most dangerous is that they often, if not always seem to be in contact with Void via a mental link that Void continues to keep persistent. It is believed that the Overseers are the 'final line of defense' of the boy and would not hesitate to protect him if it means their destruction in the end. Reports indicate that during the massive Arachnos break-out of the Zig, Void appeared out of nowhere with about twelve Overseers to attack the defending Longbow. Due to this, we have reasons to believe that there may be a larger number in connection with him.

The Generals, the Brutes

"..They're.. just.. beating on the kid..? Don't get me wrong.. I mean, I'd gladly beat any hero I see, but.. this is just.. wrong.."

- Arachnos Shadow Shard agent, upon observing Void.

The Brutes aren't a common sight in regards to Void's constant companion, if anything, they seem to be the young teenager's training partners, part of the ones who help focus Void's physical training. Most who see the training session often claim that it's just too brutal and the fact Void hasn't been killed is an outright miracle. When questioned about it, Void's face often creeps into that twisted bloodied stitch filled smile with no response. Void simply says: "..Their.. flesh.. it.. controls.. your.. mind.. focus.. and learn.. the truth.." Most simply shrug, but the few who are knowledgeable about the Shadow Shard denizens are well aware that the Brutes are very intelligent entities, and know full well how to ensure that the boy is kept alive. Once again though, the question "Why" is often most mysterious.

Natterlings, The Eyes and Ears of the Outside World

"Those damn things! They stole my gun right off of my belt!"
"That's not all they stole. They're taking Jenkins with them."
"Can't say today was a total waste then.."

-Arachnos Shadow Shard patrol, observing Natterling scvangers take away technology and Jenkins.

It's commonly believed, that despite Void's often misunderstood view on the worlds and lack of understanding that Void was not at a total disadvantage, he had a solid grasp on technology, weapons, and even --some-- communicational skills. If anything, it's believed that the Natterlings are the source and reason for that upbringing. Their constant sneaking, thievery, and love for anything not nailed down is believed to be some sort of effort on their part to help educate Void. Since his return to Earth, the Natterlings are still seen time and time again, leaving more things behind in the "Chamber of Nightmares" for Void to find. It is believed that this is the supply depot in sense and way Void has access to gear he has never requested before.

The Invisible Threat, the Wisps

"Would you braid my pretty pretty hair? Then can we go home and play with the ponies..? I want a pony.. Daddy.. daddy where are you..?"

- Operative Largo, after encountering a Wisp Overlord.

If each of the Shadow Shard's odd creatures have had a part of Void's upbringing and training. It's safe to assume the Wisps are the teacher to Void's mental training. Void was already a powerful psychokinesis user by age 3, so with the proper guidance and teaching that only a psychic creature could provide, Void would transform, to beyond the next level. While, on paper there are no official records of Wisps visiting Void since his return to Grandville, there are a few claims by personal that the wisps are indeed keeping an eye on Void, watching and communicating with him. It is advised that, if this is spotted, to simply leave and do not press the matter further, for it is is unknown how the wisps may react, after-all, they keep their presence hidden for a reason.

Chaos Made Flesh, the White Rabbit

"....The White Rabbit... my.. most powerful guardian.. Chaos.. made.. flesh.. he... is.. nothing.. short.. of... the destroyer..."

- Void.

The most often seen of Void's guardians, even more so then the Overseers, often due to the fact that the White Rabbit has been reported in multiple locations all at once, even video recorded by cameras all at once. If this is some sort of psychic trickery, then it is a very powerful technique. The White Rabbit often plays and serves as Void's personal messenger, his eyes, his ears, and his mouth, often content to nibble on a carrot until it's task is to be carried out. Confirmed reports of supernatural events have a 200% increase chance of occurring within the White Rabbit's presence. The walls may bleed, television monitors replaced with images of the white rabbit, even mass scale psychic intrusions are reported. Void is often most mysterious about this guardian, claiming that the White Rabbit is a destroyer of some type, however, the creature is entirely loyal to him. While we believe, that Void is speaking the truth in this matter and that Void is indeed a loyal Arachnos operative, the true question lies if the White Rabbit is just a psychic manifestation or something above that.

The White Rabbit often acts as a psychic spotter for the boy, often keeping him fully aware of the situation going on in other places, nearby areas while the actual mission is underway. At present time, we have been unable to confirm if the White Rabbit influences events in the nearby area to ensure the 'perfect timing' that the duo seem to have.

Tools of the Shadow

"You act more like a SpecOps then a Fortunata."

- Executioner Void

No sort of Arachnos agent would be caught dead without their various gear, equipment and training tactics. Void is in no exception. Often reported with seeing various tools such as tracking devices, smoke bombs, shurikens, giant shurikens and other forms of weapons and tools. However, out of his arsenal so tools just happen to stand out more then others. Most, if not all of Void's gear comes from an unusual corporation under the name of "Soul Erasers." The Soul Erasers seem to have to specialize in biological, robotics and advanced weaponry of all sorts. More-so mysterious is there main office is located off Etolie in the middle of the ocean. While deemed Arachnos loyal, in-fact, they often share medical and other various forms of technology with, there is still the shadowy feeling to them. Upon a recent invitation to the main branch, our agents observed SWAT Style guards with weapons and security forces that could rival a small army. Not to mention the unusual amount of defenses. Lead by the ever mysterious "Shiko", this individual is never seen without its cloak, hood and mask. It's believed that a majority of the Zaiko family fortune that went missing upon both Ken and Mai's death was sent to this group, if not the ones who founded it themselves as a form of financial security and good-bye gift for their son. Still, at the moment, we are unable to confirm this rumor, only that the boy does receive a good amount of unique weaponry and gear from them. Some of the reported spotted from them include: Hyper Extension Shuriken Blades, or "B-Blades" for short, Robotic companions in varying forms from animal shapes to strange unknown designs, hang-gliders, magnetic boots and other stealth based gear. Also, it not uncommon to see Void collecting AI Modules, Nodes and various other shards of robotics and weapons from defeated group. Vanguard and Malta appear to be the most confiscated. After analysis Void always turns over the technology to Intelligence or someone else in charge.

Yggdrasil

"I'm telling you! It CANNOT exist, the technology is just not possible right now. We barely have a grip on the WEB, and that kid comes in with some sort of portable psychic computer!? On his his WRIST no less!"

- Arachnos Portal Corp Operative.

The Yggdrasil wrist computer is perhaps the one device that Void simply does not seem to be without ever. While it's full functions are unknown we have seen first hand it appears to be linked to his mind and to the actual control console on his wrist. Holographic, yet interactive, displays often emerge from a workable keyboard to point and drag units and various on the spot data storage construction. Being that the device is called Yggdrasil, we can assume that the other programs or key functions are based after Norse concepts or reasoning. Scientists often claim that as of this day, the technology to control or even create Yggdrasil is simply impossible without it hailing from another time, or another planet.
