"Some see things as they happen, and ask why. I see things as they are, have been, shall be and could ever be, and know, when."

All children have nightmares, they see things that aren't real, but truly believe they are, their parents will hug them, tell them it's all ok and there are no monsters, and the child goes back to sleep happy and content that mother and father are correct. Only for some, the nightmares are real, or at least, they will be.

In July of 1990, a child was born to Lara and James Carter, they named their newly born son, Luke. For a while, things seemed normal, some nights were worse than others as with all babies, but when Luke reached the age of one, things began to take drastic turns for the worse.

Luke would go to bed, then wake up a few moments later screaming for his parents, this continued for months. Shortly after, Luke's parents began to notice strange voices in their heads, child like babbling and muttering of unformed words behind their thoughts.

When Luke reached around the age of three, the truth came out about what was wrong with him, Luke, was a mutant. A rather gifted precognitive and telepath to be precise. Luke's abilities allowed him to pick up on various time lines and effects that each action any person would take may have. The unwillingness of sleeping at night as a child was due to witnessing horrific events that were going to happen to various people the world over. Before long, Luke was prescribed medication to help him sleep.

Before long, the government got wind of Luke's abilities. Hoping to utilise his powers for their programme known as The Projects. Luke's parents were approached under the pretence that he would be being taken to a school to assist with psychic children. Lara and James jumped at the chance to help him, wanting to best for their son. Although their son protested the action, saying he'd never see his parents again, the two still went ahead and agreed to send him to the 'school'.

However, once Luke was handed over. Lara and James had an unfortunate car accident on the way home, leaving them both in critical conditions, to later pass away in hospital. Luke, having never been officially written over on any records, vanished into the paper trail of the government.

The original Luke was destroyed shortly after genetic material was collected, a new body was created with internal claws able to react to nerve conductions and impulses from the brain. He has been trained extensively in infiltration, assasination and above all, to control his psychic abilities to be the best use that they can be to the group. His abilities to this date include but are not limited to:

• Masking himself from the presence of other psychics

• Fooling people's minds into believing he is no longer there, or more so, hijacking the nerve signals between the retina and the occipital lobes in order to be rendered as a 'blank spot' to the visual system.

• Using his precognitive abilities to have litterally super human reflexes, avoiding attacks before they even happen

• Relaying information to his team mates via telepathic links in order for them to forsee coming attacks.

• In the later stages of his training, Luke also began to manifest minor telekinetic abilities, though these are fairly low key as of yet, they seem to manifest as a shield around himself deflecting projectiles that move too fast for his body to react to.

Luke's powers were boosted during the cloning and re-growth process of his new body with the psychic steroid known as Dialyte Surgic TRIONE acid. The drug was used to massively increase Luke's inate psychic abilities, which resulted in the manifestation of additional low level telekinetics.
