Character

Though young, Psycle is very mature for his age. Though abit headstrong and reckless at times as well.

Having seen the minds of some of the lowest people on the planet, he has developed a kind of Superiority Complex, believing most humans to be nothing but "Savage Animals" and viewing himself as the next evolutionary step.

He cares little for most things outside of himself and money, but enjoys most Punk and Metal bands, science fiction movies, especially the Matrix and Bladerunner, and video games.

He is quite sensitive to his height and young age, and will usually overeact to comments made about either, He is also abit socially inept and can be shy at time, especially around beautiful women around his age.

Abilities

Psycle is first and foremost a Master Hacker, who's limits have yet to discovered, some speculate that his primary mutant ability may be a near intuitive understanding of both computer networks and the Net.

Psycle is also an accomplished Empath, boasting both powerful telekenetic abilities, and a terrifying use of telepathy. Though in the psychic community he is seen more as an untrained joke, getting by just on "brute" force, raw talent, and dumb luck.

Background

Early Years

Pyscle was born to a normal family, though his childhood was anything but. Even at an early age Pyscle displayed a near prodigy level of skill with computers and the net. His constant skipping of school and rebellious nature caused great frustration in his family though, and at the age of 12 he ran away from his "backwards ass father". Though quite intelligent Psycle lacked direction until one day he needed money and decided to use his laptop to hack into a nearby ATM. On that day the boy known as Will disappeared, and the Hacker known as Psycle was born.

Life as a Small-Time Hacker

Psycle quickly earned respect as an Ace Hacker, employed mainly by The Family and various small time seedy underground types. His jobs usually entailed money laundering, identity theft, hacking into various polices files to add or erase records, and blackmail. All jobs he deemed below his skills.

Ascendance

At the age of 15 Psycle, while working at his computer one day, his mutant powers manifested, allowing him to read the thoughts of his current employeers, who he discovered were trying to doublecross him. A few key strokes and Psycle got away with several hundred thousands of his employeers money. While the would-be-backstabbers took the fall for possesing easily tracked useless credit cards.

The Big Time

With the best equipment available and growing psychic abilites, Psycle was on top of the world, he seemed to always be one step ahead of his pursurers and rival hackers. His popularity got the best of him though as it attracted the corrupted Crey Corporation. Crey's jobs were some of his best work, extreme acts of cyber terrorism against entire countries and multi-billion dollar corporations security systems fell before his skill, but even Psycle had a limit to how far he'd go when they asked him to cut the power of a entire hospital wing killing several innocent people on life support just to gain access to afew medical files of a rival company's owner.

He refused to do any more jobs for them, though the money was good, he went back to his smalltime roots, but the taste of big money was still on his lips.

Desperate for cash he agreed to do one more simple job for Crey, figuring he could use the money to start fresh someplace else. But while working the job. Crey doublecrossed him and leaked his location to Arachnos. A short battle ensued but Psycle was eventually able to evade capture from both parties, only to end up in the hands of the Paragon Police Department.

With numerous acts of cyber terrorism on his record, several hundred thousands of dollars of illegally obtained information stored on his laptop, and a supervirus that made the Y2K scare look like a simple popup message, Psycle was sentenced to 72 years of hard labor in the Zigg.

Rebirth

Psycle wouldn't stay in the Zigg long though, things had worked out just as he had planned, while his last job was just setup, he had learned of Arachnos's plan to bust a list of "Destined Ones" out, a list he happily hacked his name into in case of his capture, and just as he worked the doors to his cell open, Arachnos attacked on cue, letting him slip out under the sewers to freedom in the Rogue Isles and a fresh start.

Ghost Hound

A newcomer to the Isle, Psycle abilities soon gained the favor of a corporately-backed, quasi-legal Black Ops Mercenary Syndicate called Ghost Hound, at first hired on for a few jobs, he has quickly became a valued core member, constantly proving his worth as both an Ace Hacker and a Telepath.

Present

With the dismantling of Ghost Hound, and all it's former members going underground, Psycle has decided to search for better opportunities within Paragon City. Hopeful that the enemies of his past won't come back to haunt him, he stays relatively low on the radar, but can be seen hanging around the D still.

Equipment

Dive Suit

The "Dive Suit" is basically a suit of nanobots hooked directly to his neural pathways allowing the suit to become one with his mind, and thus focusing and enchancing his psychic abilities. It's primary function is to keep Psycle in a near constant connection to the net as long as an open wireless port or satellite is available, allowing him to "dive" into the net. It can help regulate his metabolism if needed and offers minor life support in aquatic and vaccum environments. It also can change it's shape to various practical purposes and he has several default blueprints saved that he usually seen in.

Arachnos Mace

Recently aquired, the Arachnos Mace, allows both close quarters combat with it's razor sharp carbon bladed edges and ranged attacks with powerful energy blasts. It also is the homing beacon to which his "pet" Spike is set to.

Spike

Spike began life as a Toxic Trantula based on the model originally designed by Weaver One. However he was trashed in battle and deemed to costly to salvage by Arachnos. However, while on a routine job, Psycle discovered Spike's remains and has since repaired him.

Beretta 93R Sidearm

Beretta 93R.png

Usually a weapon of last resort, Psycle prefers to use it in more bluff tactics and usually keeps it unloaded.

The Beretta Model 93R is a selective-fire machine pistol made by the Italian Beretta company and derived from their semi-automatic Model 92. The "R" stands for Raffica which means "burst" in Italian. The pistol was designed in the 1970s and meant for police and military use, offering extra firepower in a small package and is suited for concealed carry purposes such as VIP protection, or for close quarters fighting such as room-to-room searches. The 93R is currently out of production.

Misc

Foldable Keyboard - In cases where his Dive Suit fails, Psycle's only backup is a simple folding keyboard, a throwback to his early years as a hacker, complete with universal adapter, slightly modified.

Smoke Grenades - For cases needing a distracting exit

Rations - For all the nutrients a body needs for several weeks
