•Affiliations
Besides his side projects, and mercenary work, Ryan is a known member of Adversity Solutions Incorporated, a Rogue Isles based firm.
•Personality
Ryan is normally confident to the point of being brash, though certainly friendly. He is proud of himself and what he can do, though whether this is to mask the insecurities of his past is hard to see. He is slow to trust, but loyal to a fault, even clingy to hi friends. Despite all he is and does, there is a sweet, almost innocent nature to him.
•Appearance
Standing about five-nine, Ryan is gaunt to the point of being sickly. His skin is pale, and his hair is always kept short, though it may become unkempt between buzzes. His eyes are sunken and surrounded by dark circles, but still shine a beautiful, emerald green, providing a lone handsome feature to the boy's otherwise average face.
•Powers
Ryan's body, through a combination of his natural mutation and mother's drug abuse, is full of latent energy. It can move with incredible speeds, both in an instant and for prolonged period of time. There is no time between his thoughts and his actions, making him a capable hand-to-hand fighter. Aside from that, the speed that his heart races pumps blood through his veins at such a velocity that his body imitates a miniature hydro-electric power plant. He produces a unique bio-electricity which requires constant release before it can damage his tissue and muscular structure. Thus, his electrical attacks are not only a tool of his trade, but also a requirement to his survival.
•History
If Fate has a mean streak, it took it out on Ryan Summit. His mother, Maria, was barely surviving as a waitress in King's Row, partially as a result of a majority of her income going to a Skull's Bone Daddy in exchange for narcotics. Eventually, as her addiction grew, the money ran dry and alternate forms of payment were required. It was from these compensations that Ryan was conceived. Being a woman of faith, Maria brought her son into the world on May 4th, 1985. The boy began to show signs of his mutation almost immediately, beginning to crawl mere weeks after his birth. By the time he was four, his mother couldn't handle his energy level anymore. She began trying to solve this problem as she did all her others; by placating him with heroin. It worked, the powerful drug slowing the boy to normal speeds temporarily, and the quick-fix soon turned into a powerful addiction. Aside from that, Ryan was learning to deal with the electricity his body produced, normally being forced to drain the energy into alley cats that haunted his sleeping grounds. He never attended school, never visited a doctor, never was given any records at all. The closest proof to the existence of Ryan Summit was a library card, taken out under a fake name, which provided the boy with his only escape. When he was nineteen, Maria was murdered by her dealer over a drug dispute. Ryan killed the man, releasing his electric bursts into a human body for the first time. For the first time, he was noticed by the world around him, at least long enough to be placed in a prison cell. But Arachnos took notice, hearing stories of his strange body. In one of the famed Breakouts of the Zig, Ryan was released and whisked away to the Rogue Isles, where he still operates to this day.
•Allies
  • Moone: This mysterious man has hired Ryan as a 'consultant' in his company, Adversity Solutions Incorperated. Aside from overseeing Ryan's training, he has not interacted with the young man much.
  • Operative Lancaster: The closest thing Ryan has had to a father, Lancaster is the direct supervisor of Ryan's sub-unit of ASI. He is an unusual character, to say the least, but his leadership qualities and combat abilities are unquestionable, and Ryan serves him without hesitation.
  • Advent Assassin: He's barely spoken to this one, but Ryan can tell what he is. The way he moves, the way he speaks, the confidence that seems to flow from him mark Danny as a deadly killer, something Ryan is both terrified and enthralled by.
  • Phantom Strider: Damien is not only a co-worker; he is not only a friend; he is the first person in Ryan's life to treat him as an asset, if not a burden. The former Tsoo is constantly telling Ryan that he hates him, though he could care less whether this is true or not. He is utterly devoted to his friend, and will be useful to him as long as possible.
  • Saito Tsukashin: He's an odd one, to say the least. Ryan's only interactions have left him baffled, but the odd man's abilities are almost as unusual as his own. While he respects Saito as a companion, he doesn't know much about him.
  • Greenlee: Ryan doesn't know much about this woman, aside from her beauty. He harbors a major crush on the young woman, though she constantly rejects him.
  • Trickblade:This woman hasn't spoken to Ryan, much, but she obviously has the respect of The Advent Assassin...and that's enough for him. Not to mention that she's freaking /scary/, having chased him for a good fifteen minutes for no good reason.
  • Midnight Hex: A member of ASI, though not Ryan's unit, she's a very sweet lady. Even when he's blasted out of his mind, she's always willing to lend an ear, which is something Ryan really appreciates.
  • Kaze Killer: Ryan's dealer, and perhaps the most unusual man ever in the history of forever. He's never charged for the drugs he provides, save for very, very strange favors.
•Enemies
Ryan hasn't made any real enemies to speak of, as most of his work remains unknown to the world.
•Playlist
Ryan's Theme Song is "Save Me" by Shinedown
•Trivia
  • Ryan always wears long sleeves in public.
  • Ryan is very uncomfortable around cats, bordering on a phobia.
  • When high or stoned, Ryan has an obsession with Lego's.
