back story Radio
Radio is a true oddity of a hero. His body made of billions of tiny micro-biotic bacteria. His leader dubbed 'the master swarm' created him long ago to go across the universe in search of things to collect. Eventually he arrived on a small backwater planet named 'earth' by the natives. He whent to work assimilating himself in to everyday society to make his first round of observations. Among his first notes included the fact that other alien species and evolved humans named 'heroes' called earth home , his other note was that the planet had a intence amount of radio waves traveling around it. With this information he was able to not only determine he could take a more alien form and still fit in , but that he would be able to collect what he needed by acting hero like in form. After tuning himself to the radio signals on earth to learn more about the place he quickly found his first home among the swords of paragon , a relatively small group of heroes that let him call thier base home for a while at least. But when the leader of the swords whent MIA Radio was quickly fired by the new ruler of the swords of paragon and decided to just 'follow' (or more accuratly 'stalk') one of his teammates to a group called the jadewire. Now the unofficial comedic relief for thr group Radio spends his days screwing with badguys , collecting things and taunting his own teammates.
Notes Radio
Radios bacteria race evolved the ability to read each others little 'blips' of thought long ago , as such his hive mind makes mind reading particulary hazardous when tried on him. His mind being a giant ever changing black emptyness with walls apon walls and broken paths it can lead most mind readers to go INSANE.
Radio feeds off the radio waves from earth , as such his personality and apearence can radicly alter depending on which station he is feeding off of. A few of his known forms include:
Radio Clash: The signature body type and personality of Radio. A some what rational 'man' who despite some flaws personality wise seems to try and better him self day by day. His personality lacking he often has to tap in to his other personalitys to learn how to react to certain situations.
Nuclear: A large robot with a massive outer shell of silver and iron and a ton of weaponry. Tends to act protective ,agressive and some what cryptic at times , nuclear is one of the only forms of radio that has a direct way of thinking. Gotten from a military radio signal.
Toon: A living cartoon that uses a combination of shape shifting and matter reconfigeration to bend the laws of physics and space. A character who thrives off laughter and attention to the point that calling him 'not funny' had been known to cause him immence physicle pain. Gotten from a television signal.
Black-Out: Occasionaly radio will revert to his basic instincts as a swarm , collect matter , eat , grow , repeat. Black-out is the worst parts of radio , a personality whos only purpose is to destroy and eat. As of his first visit to earth radio has learned that sevral things can set black-out off and this causes him great worry.
Back story Lundune
Professor Lundune works at the university in steel canyon teaching a Popular (among teenage heroes anyways) course called 'meta-humans 101' A ground breaking course that goes in to the more common reasons for mutated DNA , ways to supress certain mutant genes and even what too look for in DNA to find dormant mutants. Altho his work has been called a joke by some many of his students seem oddly fasinated by the subject (tho most of these students are mutants themselves). No one knows much about him aside from what he clearly lets on. He is well groomed , more wealthy then a teacher should be , enjoys his work ,and seems to simply dissapear when he isint working. Lundune is registered in a steel canyon condo sweet but anyone that stops by and looks around can see he doesint sleep or eat there. Further digging in to his life would reviel he seems to look a awfull lot like a mobster muscleman from back in the earlier nineteen hundreds with the same last name. It is often assumed that they are related but lundune denys it almost religuisely.
Notes Lundune
Lundune -is not- human. He is radios disguise.
Due to radio wanting to seem more human , while he is in disguise his powers and abilitys are turned off.
Lundune can bleed and does feel pain.
Has a tendancy to misinterpret sarcasim.
Due to radios somewhat broken knowledge of human anatomy , small errors in lundunes body can be seen. His arms being longer then normal body ratio , his eyes sometimes changing diffrent shades of brown and his odd breathing pattern.
Does indeed have human blood and organs , Tho a couple of them are in the wrong place.
Seems to cherish a old and ratty looking red bandana he keeps in his back pocket.
The other lifes
Radio has had sevral complete lives over the course of time and he keeps records of these lives hidden all around the world. In stone tablets , early recording devices and even encoded alien devices. As these things are found more and more of radios past lives will be discovered and this is a list to follow them.
The Dragoon gaurd
One of radios first encounters with the 'western' style world was as the dragoon , a knight wielding a almost alien like spear that would gaurd a bridge often attacked by bandits. Tho poor in money and only having limited equipment and rusted armor , The dragoon was able to protect almost all of the merchants that crossed. It wasint intell in his late years as a royal gaurd that the dragoon was struck down by a villain named 'the crimson knight'. During his funeral the king ordered that the underside of his stone coffin would be a record of the dragoons accoplishments and his fall in battle. All that remains in the coffin now is rusted royal armor and a old spear.
Wandering servant
One day a legendary (and arrogant) samurai tripped over what looked like a burnt and scarred corpse wearing tatterd rags. When he found out that the body was alive and saw that the mans horrifingly thin and burned body was accompanied by a bandage wrapped faced the samurai couldint help but taunt him. When the day was done and the samurai was running short of breath from laughter he had a idea , give this injured man a job to laugh at him further. Years whent by and the servant took the abuse , getting more scarred and saving every coin he got to buy respectable clothes and new bandages. With in fifteen years the servant had proven himself loyal to a fault to the samurai , it was also this year that the samurai took to killing children to fill some sick pleasure. It wasint tell a year later when his bandaged servant walked in on him about to cut down a small girl and told him to help that the servant showed his true colors. No one is sure what happend but the screams from the girl were so loud that a patrol of gaurds rushed to her aid. Only to find a headless and blood drained corpse of what looked like a samurai and a blood soaked but unharmed girl clutching a roll of bandages with writing on them in a odd languade.
