Rebound, originally known as Statesboy, was @Sovereign Fist's "main" until CoV launched. The character was inspired by a promotional video for CoH where Statesman is shown saving children from a collapsed building, and the Freedom Phalanx is rebuilding Paragon City after the Rikti War.

Personality
Rebound has severe trust issues, paired with a drive to seek approval from the very people he distrusts. He tends to put on the show of being superheroic, and once was very cheery, optimistic, and true blue superheroic. He eventually evolved into a heartless jackass. Once his trust is earned however, he is fiercely loyal.
Powers
Psychic
Rebound has limited telepathic ability, not being able to actually read minds unless he is in touch range. He also has the ability to use a telekinetic field around himself to fly, and increase the force of his attacks. He also has a "danger sense" that runs off of his psychic ability, being able to predict threats to himself from a small, localized area.
Physical Training
Rebound undergoes a rigorous work out routine and diet, keeping himself in top physical condition. He is also fairly skilled in a self taught fighting style, but holds no ranking in any martial art.
Netherworld Connection
Minimal in use, but Rebound has been known to tap into "the Netherworld" that several dark powers seem to come from. The extent and capability of these powers is unknown, but considered secondary to his psychic abilities.
History
Pre-Heroic
Josh Lewis was your typical school student, residing in Baumton, Paragon City, Rhode Island. He had a promising career in track and field, and life looked like it would be normal and uneventful for him, up until May 23rd, 2002. At the age of 14, he was old enough to realize the sheer terror the Rikti destruction of Baumton generated, but helpless to do anything about it. Josh and his entire family made it to the basement of their apartment building and survived the destruction that followed with the Rikti Invasion. Several families resided there for a lengthy amount of time before a batch of heroes fighting in Baumton and looking for survivors felt an urge to check the rubble they were hidden under. The first thing seen as the debris was lifted away was the star emblem on Statesman's chest, an image that burned permanently into Josh's mind.
