Shadow Mokadara, The Abyss Angel
How it all started Two brothers by the names of Ukarax and Ukathrax gained the curse of Immortality. They worked in the field of biology for hundreds of years. A thought came to their head: Is it possible to create life from scratch? This is where the "Mokadara Project" started. The roots Moka and Dara derive from the language of the Divine. It translates into "The One With Meaning". The Project was also given the name "Blood Angel"
After much research and visits to conventions all over the Syria galaxy, other scientists became interested in the experiment. Soon over 1,000 of the galaxy's top scientists pitched in to help. Ukarax and Ukathrax spent over 10 years to develop just the first cell from scratch. It was 95% accurate to an organic lifeform's cell. They could have died of joy right there. Fortunately, they did not. They're Immortal anyways. Over a 17 month period, the cell reproduced and formed a fetus. The brothers housed the fetus in a simulation of a womb for 9 months. It gave birth to two baby boys with heads of fuzzy blue hair.
This is where things would get REALLY interesting for the brothers. After announcing their success and reeling in billions of Mila, (the universal currency of the Syria Galaxy)they took on a new idea. The brothers had just recently been experimenting with a rare substance by the name of Abyss. The substance's origin is unknown, but it's comprised purely of dark matter. What kind of person could they create if they were to fuse this substance with one of the children? One baby was going to be kept pure and untouched by Abyss. This baby was "Thein", which means "Warrior". The other would be fused with abyss. This one would be named "Shadow", as it would resemble the dark and corrupt half of the full person. After Shadow had absorbed all of the abyss there was to be found, nothing seemed to have changed. After awhile his eye color changed to yellow, his hair a much darker shade of royal blue, and black tribal tattoos spread across his body. It wasn't long before he was a hazard to everyone in the facility, even Ukarax and Ukathrax. He spread a terrible and deadly infection, which killed several scientists. He was put into a biohazard chamber before too many were killed. The infection would cause the victim to develop the same tattoos Shadow has. The disease was then known as "Shadow-mark" It would eat away at different parts of the brain, causing the victim to go mentally insane before death. (Don't worry, the few scientists who died were all douchebags.)
This called for desperate measures. Thein had to stay pure at all costs. Ukarax and Ukathrax sent an S.O.S. to their friend Omisition, who was immune to the disease. Omisition carried the two babies off. He dropped Thein off with a man of the name Shinkara in a humble village on the planet Tristain, while he took care of Shadow himself on an arctic-like planet by the name of Blizzardia. Shadow grew up with Omisition on Blizzardia's capital, and only city, Zero city. He didn't attend school much because of how dangerous he may or may not be. By the time his disease settled down, he had grown a passion for helping his "Pops" Omisition build ships. Not ships for water, but air crafts. They designed all sorts of types and sold them. It didn't reel in much money, but they had fun together. Around age 13, Shadow signed himself up for the Blizzardian Underground race series, and took home the title of champion. He continued racing until he was 15. Shortly after his 15th "Birthday", Omisition disappeared. Shadow fell in a deep depression, and dropped out of the league right before the semi-finals. He isolated himself from society and worked in a local mechanic shop. He didn't look for much pay as long as he could hide from the public When he found himself deep in debt, he knew he had only one choice. He had to sign himself up for the race once again. His celebrity status boomed with the Grand return of Shadow!Shadow learned to make his living off of racing. However, he felt as if forming any outside bonds would devastate him, so he ignored his screaming fangirls and gave the media many shows of his middle finger. It was not until one particular day he met a girl that changed his whole life....
Life on Earth so far
---Praetoria & Primal Earth ---
Shadow Mokadara arrived in Praetoria while searching for his missing adopted daughter and his brother Thein. He was found unconscious and held captive in Mother Mayhem's behavior adjustment facility until rescued by Resistance leader, Calvin Scott. In gratitude, Shadow decided to help the Resistance's goal in taking down Emperor Cole. He took the side of Resistance that's against the doings of Crusaders AND Cole. During his time in Praetoria, he developed a petty rivalry with Maelstrom. After parting ways with Resistance and crossing into Primal Earth, Shadow found himself in a totally different world. A world populated by both metahumans and your average citizens. Shadow had begun to awaken to his abyss again without the medical aid provided by Resistance. During his fight with his inner self, he let off a strange aura that attracted a mysterious castle in another dimension called the Shadow Shard. Shadow was welcomed with open arms to this castle, for it attracted dimensional misfits and "freaks" like him. The Tesseract Castle, his new home.
During his time in Paragon and the Isles, Shadow took in contracts through his re-opened mercenary/detective business, "Breakdown". But since he had his standards, all contracts weren't acceptable. He made new comrades during his time on Earth such as Marcus(The (now deceased) Leader of the Knights of Avalon), Dr. Von Haven Crabs(A quirky outcast scientist), Tavangia Zail(An ex-Unseelie Elite Enforcer Sidhe(Pronounced "She") who betrayed her master, Vykriel, for the good of her new home), Sierra(A little girl who is the embodiment and reincarnation of the great and powerful Phoenix), Kyle/"King Crazy" (Shadow had saved him during his infantry when he stopped a Council Plot in the past via Ouroboros. KC's parents were killed, but KC himself was saved. He's a youthful psychic), Alloces(A hybrid of an incubus and a succubus), Krys & Octina (Elder sisters whose father built Tesseract Castle), Acanous(An archmage who is powered by his "magic sword". By magic sword, he means <spoilers> his ego</spoilers>), Kes'Rin, a demon who betrayed his own kind to protect humans and bounded himself to Shadow, and more. He also reunited with his gang leader and long time friend from Zero City, Ardente Anima. Shadow spent a lot of time working undercover in the isles with Tavangia Zail, who eventually got used to being called "Tava" for short. They grew intimate after he carried her out of a bank heist when she entered her Shade Mode, which is a limit breaker for Sidhe. He also accidentally allowed her to see the true hatred he had within him when Maelstrom revealed to Shadow that he had killed his daughter.
---The Time Ruler---
Shadow was trying to continue his mission to halt the Time Ruler(of my lore, if your character is any way the Time Lord or you are thinking of Dr. Who, do not be alarmed). Doing so would require finding a way to the Eleventh Plane, the sole plane of Time. He dedicated himself to helping Earth folk and heroes if they were to eventually help him cross the gate into Eleven. Eventually, he crossed into Eleven with the help of his new friends and his brother Thein, whom he reunited with. Thein sacrificed himself for the group when a swarm of angels attacked them before crossing over. Shadow, who was now fueled with rage, rushed ahead to get the pleasure of fighting the Time Ruler his own self. While successfully beating him in a duel, the Time Ruler grabbed one last blow. This blow killed Shadow and he was dragged down to Hell for fighting the divine and for his own abominable existence.
---Hell---
Each day in the real world was a year in Hell for Shadow. He spent about a total of 50 days before the rescue team (being his old friends) showed up to bust him out. Shadow made a deal with the big devil himself to challenge him to the game of the Nine Trials with the help of his friends. If he were to win, he'd be free and he would get his old body back, for he had taken on a new mutilated and demonic body. If he were to fail, he'd lose all memory of his life before death and become an eternal servant to the flame. In short, he'd be The Devil's little Bitch. He did not want to be the devil's bitch. We've all seen Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny. His team was Krys, Tavangia, Sierra, Marcus, Pesadilla, Justin (Titanium Titan), and himself. The games were personally set up by a new friend of his who went by The Icon of Sin. They braved through the nine circles in order: Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery. While Satan had originally planned on killing the party off no matter the outcome, he changed his mind when a powerful Fiend arrived by the name of Adeous. Satan knew Adeous could not overpower him, but he faked the act of failure to see if it would intimidate his players enough to make them back out of fighting him. The stubborn do gooders kicked Adeous' hellish ass and were granted freedom at last. When the party got out of Hell, Shadow and Tava adopted Sierra as their own. Both parents knew what it's like to lose a child and they would not fail again.
---Malta and their shady ally--- Shadow and Tava did not get much time to hug and kiss after they reunited in the material plane. She disappeared without a word. Shadow was greeted by Agent Lavender, an ex-Malta operative. In exchange for halting a gargantuan Malta plot, she would help him find Tava. Many Malta bases and Two Kronos Titans later, they hit a dead end. Shadow had finally passed out from two weeks of no rest. During his unconscious state, Tava spoke to him from a facility owned by a group called Blackwatch. Blackwatch is-

So Tava regained her memory and the family was whole again. Lavender left once she knew everything was A-okay. Her work would never be done.
It was not long before otherworldly invaders came for Shadow in search of information on The Mokadara Project. Later on, the Mokadara Project was revived by a figure named Enzeru, who worshiped a deity that went by Overlord Zetta. Enzeru used Ukarax/Ukathrax's blueprints to clone/create Mokadara Super Soldiers that invaded Earth. With the help of both Arachnos AND Phalanx, along with the menders of Ouroboros, Enzeru was killed before the city fell to the blue hair army. The threat of Overlord Zetta still roamed, however. Overlord Zetta is a devourer of Incarnates. He would absorb incarnates and steal their power. (Think Cell in DBZ except no weird tail and very purple) Shadow, Tava, Marcus, and Sierra were warped to the distant future where Zetta had taken over the world by devouring more than 95% of the Incarnates. He ruled the world with advanced Nether-Tech and asylums for his crazy experiments. The group met up with their future selves, except for Future Marcus, who died holding off Zetta. They learned The Black Sun is where Zetta harnessed his god-like power from. The Black Sun is a gigantic powerhouse of Abyss. With the help of some escaped experiments who were from Zetta's home world, the group fought through Zetta's forces. Future Shadow destroyed the Black Sun, and future Tava had betrayed the group in favor of Zetta. They took the corrupted Zetta back to their own time with them and finished him off in pure humiliation.
---And now...---
Shadow fights The Good Fight in Praetoria even still, and had recently resigned from the main branches of The Resistance once betrayed by Calvin Scott. He and Noble Savage work their own branch with the Carnival of Light, exiled IDF members, and warden resistance fighters. Their work in Praetoria may never be finished, but they can always make the day a bit more bright. When Colonel Duray had came to "stop" the praetorian Hamidon from infesting the Primal Hamidon, Shadow and over one hundred other heroes fought off the Imperial Defense Force and the super-powered Hamidon.
