The alien’s energy would restore his body to health, but his consciousness would only make a partial recovery, forcing the alien persona to “fill in the blanks” far more than it would on a typical merging. He spent the time from 2005 to 2009 searching for his brother Michael, but would eventually return to Paragon expecting him to “come home”.
