Birth and Childhood

Sukina's life was fairly normal until the age of six. Her hometown was destroyed by a scientist who used her hometown as a test run for his robots, seeing how quickly they could decimate a small sized town. Sukina was saved by a man named Lahn Leon. The man wielded a sword, shield, and various protective magic. Sukina's parents were lost in the raid, and Lahn brought her back to where he lived, known as the Temple of Light. The Temple of Light housed children who were orphaned or abandoned, taking care of them until they requested to go to foster parents, or stay and train to become a magical warrior like the man who rescued Sukina. Sukina eventually chose to train to become like Lahn, after hearing his story about what happened to his parents. Sukina had some initial difficulty learning the magic, but Lahn taught her outside of her magic classes, as Sukina became somewhat a younger sister to him. Sukina eventually mastered the ability to use magic while already being gifted in the physical realm. For some reason, her training seemed to bear more results than her peers, and she was a quick learner of various physical combat techniques, usually mastering what she was taught within a few days. Sukina's advancement was so great, she graduated two years early. She was given a sword called the Tourniquet. A white hilted blade capable of casting physical and magical shields, along with the ability to heal wounded flesh and replace lost blood.

Traveling and Growing

Sukina was paired with another graduate upon leaving the Light Temple named Ryan Eriks. Ryan was fairly gifted in magic, though he was average when it came to the offensive. The two had grown up together, and upon graduation, had become something of an item. However, traveling together was a different story. Sukina became fairly over-confident after graduating, and it got to Ryan on occasion. It was around this time, Sukina learned how to make her sword cast magic rather than spending her own energy casting magic. Not long after, a street fighter named Andrew Trenthian joined with them to help locate a man named Dyanitz Rubin. Dyanitz was the son of the man responsible for Sukina's home getting burned to the ground, but she wasn't aware of this. Andrew was loud, headstrong, and dramatic, which annoyed Ryan. Though the combined effort of the three didn't bring Dyanitz in, they still managed to destroy his lab while chasing him out of the city. Andrew joined with them in their travels after, having a crush on Sukina as well.

Sukina (before becoming the agile dual blade fighter) and Andrew team up to fight Vivaje.
Ryan began to become overprotective with Sukina, due to Andrew's advances and the danger she put herself in constantly. Her attitude still caused her to confront things before thinking about it due to all the praising she got upon graduating and her success so far. Just as the robotic specialist Dyanitz began to disappear from everyone's memories, his brother Vivaje showed his face. Vivaje was older than Dyanitz, and while he could make robots like his brother, he could also make various formulas, he was a good shot with his rifle, and was physically powerful enough to overwhelm Sukina, Andrew, and Ryan. Vivaje was impressed with Sukina's performance however, and was about to make an attempt to capture her when another fighter showed up. A young man named Shanic Arvisu wielding a lance showed up, and fought Vivaje back by himself. Vivaje quickly threw down a blinding powder and tranquilized Sukina, allowing himself to escape with her.

In his lab, he subjected her to his latest formula. Using the blood of an old extinct creature known as a Baora, the mixture was supposed to make her more aggressive and submissive to his orders, while improving her physical prowess. For a short time, her canine teeth became fang like as a side effect to the formula. Vivaje took her old sword from her and handed her the Exodus. He saw Sukina summon magic from her own sword, which looked similar to the Exodus. However, upon ordering Sukina to listen to him, she instead attacked him and escaped his lab.

Andrew, Ryan, and Shanic were looking for Sukina when they found Vivaje. Vivaje summoned his robots, but patted Sukina's old sword hanging from his belt, claiming he still had her captive, and that they had better not kill him. His claim was shortly proven false, as Sukina arrived not long after. Sukina's arrival distracted Shanic, which caused one of Vivaje's robots to knock him off the roof of the building they had all been fighting on. Sukina became enraged and attacked Vivaje furiously. Andrew and Ryan took note that Sukina's form and style was far different than before, as she was much more careless and aggressive. Vivaje managed to goad Sukina into testing her new speed against his rifle. Sukina was blasted right through the stomach, causing her to drop to the floor, near motionless. Ryan attacked Vivaje in anger while Andrew knelt by Sukina's side as she weakly spoke to him, feeling her life was about to end. Vivaje quickly defeated Ryan and tossed the Tourniquet next to Sukina after she closed her eyes, saying he didn't need the sword since he couldn't use the magic, though he seemed shaken that he had killed Sukina. Andrew attacked him in a fit of rage and managed to fight with Vivaje for awhile. During the commotion, one of the attacks knocked Sukina's Tourniquet back into her free hand. As Andrew and Vivaje clashed, both were thrown backwards, off the building. It was then Andrew was grabbed by someone. He looked up to see Sukina looked vastly different. Her clothing and hair had changed to white, and she had wings of white fire protruding from her back. The change didn't last long, after Andrew was brought back to safety, Sukina returned to normal, though her wound had been healed.

Vivaje returned to the rooftop using his rocket boots to see Sukina was back on her feet again. Andrew took notice she seemed to have returned to her former self, as she didn't seem overly angry anymore. Wielding both the Tourniquet and Exodus, and using both their powers of offensive and defense magic, she defeated Vivaje and drove him into retreat. They discovered soon after the man named Shanic had survived the fall. Sukina suggested Shanic join with them, and though hesitant at first, agreed to do so. At this point however, Ryan told Sukina to quit being a hero. He didn't like the danger she was constantly in, and it worried him too much. Sukina however refused to give up helping others since she had the power to do so, further backed up by Andrew agreeing with her. Ryan stated the two couldn't be together anymore, as it would be too emotionally taxing on him. He agreed to continue helping them in battle however.

Return of Vivaje, Meeting Keeta

Things were fairly quiet for Sukina after Vivaje was defeated. So quiet, that the group decided to disband after awhile. Most crimes they stopped didn't require four humans with above average strength. Sukina and Shanic quickly grew close as friends, much to the dismay of Ryan and Andrew, who had been trying to get close to Sukina for awhile. They agreed to meet up in New York City for a little while, but discovered that Vivaje was planning to use New York for a wide scale test of the fluid he had used on Sukina before. This time Vivaje was backed up by his brother Dyanitz, a mysterious warrior with a giant sword, and a woman with bright red hair, wielding two magical swords like Sukina.

The mysterious warrior was later found out to be Zikenma Arvisu, who fought with Andrew and Shanic. While he soundly defeated Andrew one on one, Shanic and Zikenma ended in a draw. The woman helping Vivaje was named Keeta Gavin. She told Sukina that had come from the Light Temple like her, but she was neglected due to being in the same classes as Sukina. She felt she was constantly overshadowed by Sukina and wanted to prove she deserved the spotlight. The fight between Sukina and Keeta was fairly intense. Keeta was far quicker than Sukina, and the magic she used was far different. One of her swords could create illusions, which Keeta favored to make herself vanish from sight, while her other sword could cause massive hurricane strength winds. Despite Sukina's effort, and using all of the magic in her arsenal, Keeta brought Sukina to her knees. While Sukina lay bleeding on the floor, Keeta informed Sukina her friends were next on the list. Sukina managed to block Keeta's following attack as her friends arrived on the scene, and transformed yet again into the angel with white fire wings. Awe struck by the transformation, Keeta was shortly defeated after. Vivaje's group retreated shortly after Keeta's defeat.

Refining Her New Style

Sukina continued to fight using her two swords and their magic. This allowed her to fight for a long time, while using magic and not tiring. It wasn't long before Keeta was plotting against her again. She hired a large lizard humanoid named Detabol to kill her. It wasn't long before the mercenary lizardman clashed with Sukina. Wielding two axes, and possessing a speed and quickness similar to Sukina, Detabol managed to defeat Sukina in their first encounter. While she was recovering, she got into an argument with Shanic, who got injured figting. Rather than taking time off to recover, he left not wanting to be parented. After recovering, it wasn't long after till Sukina fought with another young women with super natural physical prowess. A girl a year younger than Sukina named Kelsa, was robbing a bank when Sukina encountered her. Kelsa fought with no weapons, being skilled in the martial arts, and possessing a speed that outdid even Keeta, while packing far more power. Despite Sukina's magic and skill with her blades, Kelsa defeated her as well. Sukina began to feel fairly weak and powerless after her two back-to-back failures, and contemplated quitting. While Ryan still encouraged it, Andrew fought against it.Despite Andrew's constant encouragements, Sukina still began to sway towards quitting. Shanic returned soon after, apologizing to Sukina for ignoring her advice, as it almost cost him his life. After the two made up, Shanic encouraged her not to give up. Sukina decided against quitting after speaking with Shanic. She fought with Detabol again the next day, defeating him one on one despite he had grown far more powerful than their original encounter. Keeta and Vivaje's group soon interfered, buying time for Detabol to recover. When Detabol pushed Sukina into a corner, she managed to transform yet again, and after fighting for awhile, managed to defeat and kill Detabol. Sukina later contemplated if it was the right the to do, but Shanic assured her Detabol would have only kept getting stronger and angrier had Sukina not stopped him there.

Keeping Enemies Close

It was around this time Sukina ran into a man named Ben Taksore, who owned a museum. The old man was fond of talking her ear off about the exhibits in his museum. One of them was the Angel of Light. She learned these were powers that were passed down through family members. Only those with certain blood could store, contain, or use the powers. She later learned the Angel of Light had an ally; the Angel of Darkness. It wasn't long before she confessed to Ben about being the Angel of Light, in which he was more than happy to give out even more information that he knew.Shortly after the incident with Detabol, a giant pitch black monster began attacking the current city she was residing in. When she arrived on the scene, she was surprised to see Keeta, Dyanitz, Vivaje, and Zikenma battling with the creature already. The two groups decided to avoid getting in the other's way while they battled the giant beast. Sukina attempted to transform into the Angel of Light, but was unable to do so, so she fought normally. During the course of the battle,Sukina was knocked into a weak building. The roof almost collapsed on her, but Ryan managed to hold the roof up with his shield, telling Sukina to get out. Despite Sukina telling him he didn't have to do it, he urged her leave. He eventually convinced her, getting out right before the building collapsed on him, crushing Ryan to death.

Sukina continued to fight on, but was nearly killed by the creature. Keeta stepped in and saved her after Shanic finally convinced her to fight. Keeta fought with the creature a bit, but despite inflicting some heavy damage, was eventually defeated too. Sukina managed to transform into the Angel of Light, but was unable to defeat the shadow creature on her own. As she fought on, Keeta transformed into the Angel of Darkness, stepping and fighting with the creature for a bit. Eventually, Sukina and Keeta combined their powers, killing the creature by combining their powered up magic and physical attacks. After the battle, Vivaje offered the use of his lab which had healing tanks in it since Sukina's Tourniquet had been left drained from the battle. Keeta seemed to mellow out a little after the battle, and the two groups agreed to a truce for the time being.

The O.A.R.H.

A few months after the battle against the giant creature, a group calling themselves the OARH (Organization Against Renegade Humans) showed up and arrested Sukina, Andrew, and Shanic. They claimed they were the cause of all the destruction to the city and that they were to be evaluated. The leader named Xuthus Jibbel, claimed that super powered beings attracted trouble, and their large battles cost many lives and money in damage. The three were held captive at a base belonging to the OARH. Andrew tried to break out with brute force, and eventually did manage to punch his door down. However, he was left exhausted when he finally knocked down the thick metal door, and was quickly beat down by some OARH soldiers before being thrown in a cell again. After Andrew's attempt at escape, Xuthus ordered the three to be executed, starting with Sukina first.

Shortly after this order, a break-in was detected. The OARH was under attack by Keeta, Zikenma, Vivaje, and Dyanitz. The four rescued Shanic, Sukina, and Andrew. The seven of them managed to fight the waves of soldiers, causing the OARH to retreat to the sea. They followed them, where the OARH stowed aboard a cruise ship, causing Sukina's group to do the same. While the two former enemy groups got to know each other better, they also tried to root out the OARH, who were hidden for the most part on the ship, despite a few small encounters. They also ran into Kelsa again on the ship. Despite the fact she worked for a woman ordering her to steal, Shanic had befriended her. This caused some jealousy on Sukina's part, as Shanic began spending time with Kelsa while they were on the ship. Eventually, an OARH ship arrived and the OARH killed everyone in their way to get to their boat. Sukina's group along with Kelsa boarded the OARH ship as well. Kelsa made short work of their infantry, causing the OARH to call out their specialists.

One of their specialists was named Sayne Cassady, who Sukina shortly found out was her uncle! Despite the relation between the two, Sayne didn't hesitate at all trying to kill her. Andrew eventually had to step in because Sukina refused to fight him at first. Later specialists were revealed to be Kaytest, a foe with telekinetic powers, and Malitol, the father of Detabol. The battle became hectic as the OARH threw everything they had at the group. Eventually, Malitol was killed by Shanic and the OARH retreated shortly after, Malitol being their most powerful warrior. Though they were defeated, Sukina's group knew they were not done with the OARH.

Shadow

The Deity of Darkness, responsible for creating the powers of the Angel of Darkness, tried to get Keeta to do his bidding, and though he had limited control over her, was unable to get her to obey his commands. The Deity had lost faith in humanity, and was trying to end the world. He found an actor, and using his magic and influence, imbued him with dark powers that mimicked Sukina. He wielded two magic swords and if Sukina transformed, his power would grow as well. He also did the same for two others, though they were not as powerful as the man the Deity now called Niaku. Niaku and his two minions set off to take Sukina's powers away from her. However, Niaku's team was not enough to defeat Sukina and her group. The Deity then informed Niaku of the lesser Angels, who could use their powers at will, unlike Sukina or Keeta, but their powers were weaker overall. The Angels of Fire, Water, Lightning, Ice, Earth, and Wind were all out in the world. Niaku just had to help them discover their powers, as they likely wouldn't be aware of them. Niaku would have to expose them to large amounts of their element to awaken their powers. Niaku began recruiting the Angels, first running into the Angel of Water, who had already discovered her powers. Soon he found the Angel of Fire and Wind, but the Angel of Wind refused to join him, and instead joined with Sukina. Niaku continued his crusade, managing to recruit the rest except for the Angel of Lightning. This led to another big battle between Sukina's group and Niaku's now much larger team. As each of the lesser Angels fell, Niaku absorbed their energy, eventually combining all six and calling himself the Element's End Angel. Though he proved to be able to overpower Sukina and Keeta individually, Sukina's group banned together to help defeat him, returning the powers to the Lesser Angels as he was defeated. He escaped to plot a new way to steal Sukina's powers.

Master of Darkness and Light

Sukina is drained of her body's light energy by Terroth, quickly resulting in her defeat.
After the incident with Niaku, a portal from the past opened up in a park, allowing a man named Terroth to pass through. Terroth was from medieval times and was sent into the future because he was too powerful to be defeated by the heroes back then. He showed up wielding a staff that allowed him to switch between four forms He was also able to drain the Light energy from Sukina's body, rendering her powerless until she got her energy back. Shortly after, a man offered Sukina the ability to exchange her current powers for ones of darkness. This would stop Terroth from being able to drain the energy in her body. She eventually accepted the offer and the man handed her a gauntlet with five buckles. The man told her to unlock more of the power, she would have to undo a buckle on the gauntlet.
Sukina unlocks the dark powers of the gauntlet.

Sukina eventually unlatched the first buckle and was alarmed to find a voice in her head, urging her to unleash more of the power. Along with the new power came a new sword. Sukina ditched the Tourniquet and Exodus, as she couldn't use them anymore. As Sukina battled more with Terroth, she found herself still needed to unleash more power. Everyone noticed her personality beginning to change as she let more power loose, till Shanic warned her to stop. The following battle with Terroth quickly crippled Shanic, and Sukina decided to unlatch the final buckle and let all the power out. However, it had been Terroth's original powers that had been magically sealed away. Terroth's personality had imprinted with the powers, causing them to project onto Sukina. As Sukina unlocked the final latch, Terroth sucked the powers from the gauntlet, leaving Sukina drained of her energy. She had to sit the rest of the battle out, and though Terroth was driven away, he was still very powerful, and no doubt was planning some kind of counterattack. Sukina got her old powers back from a friend who held her powers for her temporarily, causing Sukina to return to her typical combat style.

Moving to Paragon City

It wasn't long until Sukina and her group heard about Paragon City. Despite the city was full

of heroes, it desperately needed more. Since Sukina had always traveled where she felt she was needed the most, the move to Paragon was a natural choice for her. Along with Sukina, came her group of friends... as well as her enemies, hoping they too could take advantage of the allies they could find in the Rogue Isles.
Going for a walk.

Abilities

Magic: Sukina used to know several protective magic spells. However, like all things people don't use, they forget how over time. Sukina's natural magic abilities have diminished to near nothing.

Sword & Shield Fighting: Sukina was originally trained in this style. However, her adventures lead her to change to the Dual Blade fighting style.

Dual Blade Fighting: Sukina's preferred method of fighting. Her handling of her two blades is superb despite the size of the two weapons. She quickly became attached to this style after gaining the Exodus, combining quick attacks with interjections of magic.

Tournqiuet: The Tourniquet is Sukina's white hilted longsword. It possesses the ability to conjure a fairly strong blue shield that blocks physical attacks, a fairly strong magic shield (can't be up at the same time as the physical one), and the ability to heal flesh and replenish lost blood. Sukina learned how to wield the magic in the sword, causing her to become dependent on its magic instead of her own. And while the barriers and healing are far from as powerful as she could've eventually become, the fact she keeps her energy instead of losing it casting have helped her greatly in combat.

Exodus: Sister sword to the Tournqiuet. It is shaped the same as the Tourniquet, but has a black hilt and darker steel on the blade. This blade casts fire (white fire when used by Sukina), ice, water, wind, earth, and lightning. They lack the powerful punch a mage can create, but they also don't drain her energy to cast, allowing her to use different attacks without sapping her strength.

Eternal: Acquired when she was originally captured by Vivaje, the Eternal does not use a traditional clip. Instead it's a clip that recharges itself at a rate of one shot restored per minute. The Eternal can fire 8 bullets of searing light before the clip is empty. She rarely uses this weapon, but occasionally mixes it into her attacks when she needs the range.

Martial Arts: When Sukina realized how quick Kelsa was since she didn't use any weapons, Sukina wanted to learn how to fight barehanded effectively. Upon request by Sukina, Shanic taught her what he knew. In addition to picking up some moves from Kelsa, she is fairly skilled at hand-to-hand combat after being taught by Shanic.

Agility: Sukina's physical training at the Light Temple, plus Vivaje's mixture accelerated her to physical levels she wasn't even close to before. This allowed her to become very speedy and quick to react. This allows her to dodge bullets and the like.

Angel of Light in battle.
Angel of Light: Sukina's transformation.
Sukina as the Angel of Light.
A power created to help average humans fight the forces of evil created by the Deity of Light. Sukina is more powerful than the average human, so naturally her transformation makes her even more powerful. She is only capable of transforming when a strong urge to protect overwhelms her. Friends being in danger being the most common trigger for the transformation. While she is far from invincible in this form, her overall abilities get a significant boost, along with granting her the ability to fly.

Personality

Sukina is typically friendly, talkative and likely smiling. She's not one to judge on appearance and tries to remain polite and respectful of others. However, she usually stands firm on her viewpoint on issues, and will talk passionately about her opinion if she feels she needs to. Though she likes to help people out emotionally as well, death can be a hard subject for her to help with as she's lost friends during battles and typically closes up to those live for the thrill of battle. Though she was originally overconfident upon leaving the Light Temple, she mellowed out a bit after a few defeats, realizing she still had things to learn about herself and fighting. While she's still confident, she typically doesn't try to make a show of her fights anymore or try and outdo the people she teams with. She's strong willed and doesn't back down easily, even if she knows her opponent is more powerful than she is.
