Personality
Suzuan has mellowed out with the joining of a full Nictus. While she still wishes to get into the thick of it, Nusi tempers her attacks with caution. With her prior skills as a brawler, she can still get face to face with others. But with Nusi, she is learning that there is more at risk than her own life now.
Outside of combat, she seems more sullen and tired. Perhaps it is the countless people that have come in and out of her life that has left such a deep scar upon her soul. She tends to sit off to the side and watch others, only speaking when she feels something is wrong or when approached. She tends to think it is old age that is making her more weary of the world and the people within it.
Current Character History
With the loss of everything she held dear to her, the woman known as Suzuan left small chain of islands in the Bermuda that all know as ‘The Rogue Isles’. She traveled far and wide in the two years she went missing. But when she returned, she was not alone anymore. Finally she was able to register for a hero license with the promise she wouldn’t do anything to Statesman.
What information that was given by the nekomimi is that she is now joined with a Nictus who goes by the name of Nusi. It seems to be a willing joining between the two as they are now classed as a warshade. It seems that with the joining, Suzuan has become weakened greatly, loosing much of her powers from before. Nusi is helping Suzuan to grow in strength and power while keeping the woman the company she has always longed for but could never keep.
Character History
All that is known of Suzuan is this:
- A secret project funded by Crey to create the perfect assassin, the Council almost had it. That is, until the Lost crashed the laboratory. Seeking ways to enhance themselves, they trashed the place, killing everyone. Longbow came upon the burning building and quickly went to arrest all that was there. Within a cryogenic tube, they found a sleeping lady. Only word upon the tube was ‘Suzuan’. They quickly shipped the item to the Zig, wishing not to deal with what they could only ponder as another ‘reject’. Awoken, her brain was already pre-programmed for certain things. Once the prison break happened, she ran to seek out more of her mysterious past. She returned shortly after in the custody of a hero and pledged to fight per the laws of Paragon City. Hero license was issued and she has been crime fighting ever since. A few years later, she lost her ID and can no longer return to the City.
True History
‘Suzuan’ is not her real name. Yet none ever found out what it really was. She was born in Marion, a small steel town, in the year 1978. She has only one other sibling, an older brother of about three years. Her mother died when she was around two years old from lung cancer. Her father was a steel mill worker and he soon turned to alcohol after the death of his wife. The children raised themselves while their father was either working or passed out in a drunk stupor. The subject was a honor student while her brother dropped out of high school to help support his family. She went to her senior prom, escorted by her brother. The dance was raided by the Council and Crey operatives. Only the young females were taken and there were very little casualties. Meaning, her brother is still alive.
They were able to gather up fifteen and ship them off to an underground laboratory off the coast of Paragon City. The underground laboratory was connected to the sewers and was under consent attack from the Lost. Just what the Council was working on was a different version of the vampyri. Rumors state that the grant came from Countess Crey herself, but these are unfounded. These vampyri would be more pleasing and innocent looking, while still remaining violent and eager to kill than those that were created like Nosferatu. Soon the females were infused with Nictus and only five lived through the ordeal. Yet they soon found that the girls couldn’t handle the issue of killing for pleasure, two of them ending their own lives rather than going on. A psychic, unknown, was brought in to lock away their past so they would be more open to programming. Each one was given key word that will unlock the memories. The last three all formed powers along the lines of darkness. They underwent many surgeries to restructure them into ‘innocent’ looking. One actually was for height, suggesting that the subject was not always so small.
They were days away from being taken to a new place to finish the changes. Then the Lost finally attacked the laboratory, killing all the doctors they found there. Files were burned in the chaos. The creations were still within cryo tubes and all three were shipped off when Longbow couldn’t find any data on who they were or what they were. Reason for this was they were more worried that these ‘little females’ were an unknown threat to the City.
Powers
Super Human Strength
She has higher than average strength – her strength level is estimated to be in the 1-2 ton range(bench/press up to 4000lbs)
Heightened Senses
She has exhibited excellent extrasensory powers. She is sensitive to vibrations in the air due to her cat ears and on any surface she is in contact with, which aids in combat awareness, as well as enhanced vision and olfactory senses. Her human ears though are completely useless now since her ear cannel was rerouted up to her cat ears.
Superhuman Reflexes
She possesses superhuman reflexes and reaction times, which enable her to anticipate the trajectory of gunfire and energy weapons, as well as dodge oncoming melee attacks. She is slowly getting faster as time goes on.
Void and Darkness
She can now use more than just darkness when she was a brute. With a full grown Nictus within her, she is tapping into more powerful attacks. She is working towards using these energies to help her shift forms.
Night Armor
She now warps the Darkness Chemical that is still within her body to form a protective layer over her form. With the help of her Nictus, she now uses its powers to steal energy from others rather than the blood she use to. This defense isn’t a far cry from her prior powers.

Side Notes
- Had an 'owner'. No longer owned.
- Had an affair with two heroes in the past. One got her the license for hero work. Other was engaged at the time and Kat called it off when she learned of the other woman.
- Note on above: The 'Other' hero stated that Kat would not be in the 'current' timeline of his hero. Meaning, she would not exist in his life other than a 'fantasy'. Parted on bad OOC terms.
- Will not mess with men that are already taken, be it girlfriend or wife.
- Was involved with a Mastermind. Carried his child till four months. Lost due to her Nictus.
- Was deeply depressed and hid out for almost two years after the loss of her child.
- Didn't loose her child. Crey took it. Story to come soon...
- Enjoys getting her ears rubbed.
- Enjoys warm milk or fresh cream.
- Brother knows the code word to restore her past memories. He is a hero now, seeking her out.
- Has a fan-girl/stalker crush on Statesman.
- Cannot lie. Gives her a massive headache to the point if she keeps going on with the lie, she will black out. Chance for death is high in this.
