X was my third character, the first that emerged from my study of the game's lore, before I actually saw the Sky Raiders in-game. I read about them in the first Prima guide and thought they sounded cool; I was also struck by the irony of their anti-hero agenda, when any one of them - with their military training and advanced gear - could walk into City Hall and qualify as a Natural/Tech hero. I could make him look even more like a Raider, especially with the costume parts available now, but I decided not to copy the look exactly (mostly for RP reasons).

X was further inspired by certain characters played by Kurt Russell: mostly "Snake" Plisskin and Jack Burton, with bits of Col. Jack O'Neill and Todd the Soldier. --Megajoule
