The Grey Spector is my homage to one of my greatest and most adored DC (Detective Comics) heroes that has ever been sketched, written and thought of. The Batman. I had to seriously think of a way of him becoming who he is /now/. He's a vigilante like Batman, also uses high tech non lethal gadgets to aid him in HIS crusade of justice. His alter ego is also like Batman's; He's rich, had a family tragedy happen to him in his late childhood....... So without further au due, here's the full story of The Grey Spector-Spook Guardian of Paragon's night.

Character History
Garret Furlong, son of Jason and Penelope Furlong. Both his parents are rich, his name's crest and mantle has been around since the Middle Ages era. Jason and Penelope met during a meeting with each other. Garret's upbringing was joyful and loved by his parents. They also gave birth to a daughter before they had Garret, Garret and Lauren grew up together. They were close--very close. He protected her and she watched over him. Both parents knew that their son & daughter would grow up to be respectable and honored adults.... but tragedy struck the Furlongs in the wrong place at the wrong time.....
Lauren was walking home from her prep school, A gang of trolls spotted the young curvacious girl, They ran up to her and stared her down with their green tinted eyes.... A few hours later her dead body was found in a garbage dumpster. The autopsy revealed that she was raped and savagely beaten to death. (Garret was 19 years old when it happened) the Trolls were convicted of rape and murder. Jason and Penelope couldn't deal with the fact that their daughter was brutally taken from them. even Garret had trouble coping... The exact whereabouts of Jason and Penelope are unknown, some say that they commited suicide, others believe that they went insane and are currently residing in a mental house somewhere in Baumtown. Even Garret disappeared for awhile.....
Vengence and a Symbol
Inbetween the years of mourning and suffering from the loss of his sister, Garret Furlong had fled from the pain that washed over him, the young billionaire son went into seclusion. There he met a kindly old Shaolin secluded monk temple. From there he was trained in many martial arts techniques. He was even taught how to face his fear....
Once he came back to Paragon City, he had drastically changed, He has taken over his dad's corperate buisness; Furlong Industries. He also thought that he himself should do something to decrease the increasing crime that threatens Steel Canyon, but he needed a symbol. Remembering back to his childhood he came face to face with one of the Talos Island Ghost Ship's crew, it frightened him, so he took his fear to bring forth his brand of justice. Thus he manufactored a suit and used the company's outdoor equipment. He dawns his suit and goes out in the night to battle evil as the vigilantic Grey Spector.
Powers
Grey Spector possess no powers that a conventional class "Meta-Human" holds. He is trained in various Martial Arts techniques; including Wing Chun, Judo, Taekwando, Hapikido, Muay Thai and Karate. He is also trained in the technique of Shai-Laio-Hiy "Stealth of Shadows", or also known as 'Ninja'.
Abilities
Grey Spector possess no supernatural nor mutant abilities. He is a Detective, solving crimes and finding the wherabouts of villians HQ/hideouts. Grey Spector also uses fear to make his opponents cower and dread his pressence. His prowess would seem to be that of a supernatural being, but in reality Grey Spector's gone through some grueling training to keep his surroundings mindful.
Personality
Grey Spector possess no personality, that doesn't mean he's a cold heartless hero. He saves children and old ladies from danger. He's just serious in his crusade to bring forth his kind of Justice, whether it is dangling a criminal by the foot off a 50 story building, or tying up a group of criminals from a flag pole that is 55 feet from the ground. He is always on patrol, watching out for robbers, carjackers, gang fights, drug meets etc. He will never give up in his pursuit of his kind of Justice. He'll fight on till he dies in battle.

Equipment
Every good Detective and technological hero/vigilante must have some kind of High Tech gadgetory, Grey Spector is no exception. He has Grapplers in his gloves and pistons in his boots for jumping high onto rooftops. in his mask he has a built in night vision, infrared vision and a radio tranceiver/comm link with Wi Fi capability. Another high tech wonder he has is if a Hellion or an Outcast tries to pull off his mask, a security measure will detect the unauthorized fingerprint and give the unmasker abit of a shock.
