Appearance

Violet looks like a very enticing and beautiful woman. She grew in luxury and she moves and speaks with the grace. Her voice is sweet and and caring. Upon closer examination people would realize that her hair and eyes are naturally purple, as a result of her use of magic.

For a time she tried to hide her body and features, this is the time she was part of M.A.G.I., and when she joined Peregrine Island 3rd Precinct. Thankfully, after she recovered her soul, her security and grace have returned to her.

Personality

Violet is a bit shy, and tends to stutter when she is really nervous. She is very caring and now that she knows of her past as a Carnie, is more determined to help others.

Once she gets to know others she presents a good sense of humor and lose the shyness. Despite the dark nature of her powers, she is a very positive person.

When Crystal (Blood-Mother) is around, she feels safe and tends to stutter less or none at all. She tries to push her own limits to try and impress her mentor. She is very grateful and proud of having someone with so much knowledge selecting her as apprentice, and that can drive her to overcome impossible odds.

Recently, after months under Crystal's mentoring, Violet is more sure of herself. She also seems to have developed a more practical mind, still determined to help others, but taking on her Mentor, she is now more open to make concessions.

Offensively, She is connected to the netherworld and calls for the dark power to cause her enemies bad luck, making it harder for them to hit her allies, can also stop them in place, slow their movement, or make them quiver in fear, and she is able to channel the dark energy into powerful blasts that cause incredible pain.

Defensively, She can cover herself and her allies in darkness, making them harder to see for the enemies and giving some small magical protection. Can tap into the very essence of her enemies, stealing from their souls to heal herself and the allies close to her. Finally, if the situation is dire, she can cast a spell that will displace her enemies into an alternate dimension, making them unable to harm anyone for a time, but also being completely unable to be harmed in return.

Early History

Spoiler warning: Details about a player-created storyline, or information currently unrevealed about a character, follow.

Violet was a party girl, she joined Paragon University and a sorority simply to party more. Surprisingly her grades were always high, despite that. This life caught the attention of the Carnival of Shadows, who took Violet and made her one of them. She served the carnival for over 3 years before she was captured and got pulled free from the carnival's influence.

After the removal of the mask, Violet was a different person, meek and shy, her natural brown hair and eyes changed permanently to different variations of purple and violet.

She was sent to M.A.G.I. so she could learn to control her power, but without much success, and they blocked her memories about her time as a Carnie.

After a series of accidents caused by Violet (turning people pink, books or computers into plushies, all as side effect of the spells she cast), she was sent to the 3rd Precinct of Peregrine Island to help with her knowledge of the arcane. Despite being prone to accidents her knowledge was great for someone her age, but she could not cast spells without causing some kind of side effect.

There she met Justin Smith, Sgt. Phalanx, and through him got to know the Blood-Mother who took an interest on the young mystic, taking her as her apprentice.

After discovering her past as a Carnie and that she was missing her soul, Crystal and Violet managed to track down the carnival and get Violet's soul back, giving her more control over her powers. There was a problem, however. The soul has been altered so they were unable to bind it back to Violet's body. Crystal used her power to create a small heart shaped blood crystal pendant to store Violet's soul, and gave it to the young sorceress. This amulet is basically indestructible and no one could siphon the soul from it without destroying it, something that could only happen if Crystal herself is destroyed or weakened enough. Violet, in a reckless but moving gesture, decided to give the pendant to Crystal, as they have become lovers, and obviously, what better place for her soul than hanging from her lover's neck?

S.C.O.R.P.I.O.

(Strategic Command Objective for Research, Protection + Interdictive Operations)

After recovering her soul with the help of Crystal, her mentor and lover, she had a talk with Chief Smith and arranged for Violet to move into S.C.O.R.P.I.O.'s Arcane division, where she could learn to control her vast powers better and faster, and where Crystal could keep a closer eye on the development of the young sorceress.

She has participated on many operations helping other members of SCORPIO, dealing with demons and recovering the soul of an agent, participating on a mission that forced the team to destroy a complete dimension to prevent the destruction of ours.

Recently Violet has been promoted to Field Leader, a position that she is not completely sure she can hold, but also a challenge that she is sure will help her in her growing as a sorceress and agent.

Equipment

S.C.O.R.P.I.O. has made the following equipment available to their agents, however the Blood-Mother tries to use technological equipment as little as possible, tending to prefer the use of magic.

Wrist Comm Unit

The SCORPIO wrist communications unit is an interesting technology developed by Singer Defense Systems for SCORPIO Agents. It is in essence a highly advanced computer capable of tracking mission data, interfacing with satellite scans and collected intelligence, providing a communications interface.

- Unit acts as a basic datapad, able to store and retrieve data from robotic systems/androids/etc., the SCORPIO database, other computers (via a direct link or wireless transceiver), comm signals, and standard datacards.

- Wrist link allows the user to open base and teleportation portals and receive signals from her surveillance gear.

Head-Up Display (HUD):

- A transparent display that presents data without obstructing the user's view. Originally developed for military aviation.

- Visual capabilities of the unit are taxing on the power cell and need to be replaced after a month normal usage.

Note: Areas with strong electromagnetic interference render the unit's radar useless while the communications become unstable.

MediPort Beacon:

- Monitors vital signs in the wearer and prompts a teleport to the nearest hospital in case of an emergency. Can also be activated manually.

Customized SCORPIO uniform:

- Magically enhanced leather clothing, giving it the resistance of 8-ply kevlar panels, without sacrificing the movility.

- "Atlex 5" a fire-resistant material that withstand temperatures of up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.
