Kami Sensei
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
Kami Sensei was born in Moscow, Russia on December 12th 1922; His real name is Vale Leonis. Vale's Parents left him behind in Russia to fend for himself when they began to immigrate to America. Vale didn't understand why they left him at the time, but later came to discover that they had traded him the the Circle of Thorns for money. Vale having been raised under the Circle of Thorns understood much of their work and the relics they owned. When Vale became 26 years old, he stole the Регенерация Relic and the Преобразование Relic, and escaped to America in search of his Parents and the revenge he so desperately wanted. Currently, Kami Sensei is involved with the The Giordano Family due to past relations with Don Giordano.

Within the Circle
When Vale was given to the Circle, he was told they were "good" people and would eagerly take care of him. Vale took comfort in them as they did in fact, take care of Vale. In his younger years, Vale tended to the Регенерация relic daily by cleaning it and feeding it the energy of victims who had fallen prey to the Circle. Though he was never told, the relic would change him completely. The head Magi of the Circle in Russia had his eye on Vale, knowing that he was not one of their kind and would eventually succumb to the relic's power. The Magi called to Vale and asked him to take care of another relic in its place. Vale didn't understand why he had to stop tending to the relic, but he agreed nonetheless. The new relic that was given to him for safekeeping was the Преобразование relic. After tending the relic for about 3 years, Vale began to have visions of what would be. He saw himself being murdered by the Circle to power their largest summon. Vale concluded that the reason they tended to him for so long was because he easily absorbed the Регенерация relic's energy. Late one night after everyone had fallen asleep, Vale took both relics and left the Circle Coven.
Where now?
As Vale stepped outside, he immediately realized how cold it was. Vale placed the two relics together in hopes of producing heat, to discover that he was no longer cold, and clothed much differently. Much to his amazement, the relics had teleported him away from Russia. Vale walked around, examining his surrounding to discover he was in an urban wasteland known as the Rogue Isles. He knew he had to find his parents and discover why they left him, but realization set in and he remembered they might not still be alive. Vale glanced down at the relics to discover they were gone. He was in shock, without them he would be powerless and have no means of defense.
The Russian Blade
Vale was in shock. He had nowhere to go, and had nothing to eat. The Rogue Island Police officials soon picked up the straggler and threw him in the Zigg to keep him off the street. While Vale was in prison he met another man who spoke Russian. The man explained to Vale that he was soon about to die, and his sentence was coming to an end. Vale was disheartened and knew there was no way he could help his comrade. On the day of the comrade's death, he told the RIP guard to leave his last possession to Vale; a Russian Blade. Vale didn't know much of the blade, but he knew that all of his comrade's hope had been left in him.
Bustin' Out
The day the Arachnos came to the Zigg and started freeing prisoners, Vale knew that this was his one and only chance to make something of himself. Vale made his way to the armory and saw a blade wrapped in linen. He uncovered the blade, and picked it up. As Vale felt the blade in his hand the relics he stole began to emanate their aura from Vale, moving to the blade. Vale felt a rush of power and a surge of renewed hope. He would find his parents in one form or another, and avenge his fallen comrade in any way he could.
The Mind of Rularuu
Operative Pithers tasked Vale to find Olivia Darque within the Shadowshard. During his expedition, he found a spring on the highest peaks and drank to quench his thirst. As he drank, his relic began to emit a strange sound ... one unlike any he had ever heard. Vale watched as his relic began to fly towards the center of the Shadowshard in disbelief. Worried, but more focused on the task at hand, Vale found Olivia and destroyed the Soldiers of Rularuu only to discover he had to find his own way out. A voice spoke to Vale, directly into his mind and told him where to find the exit and where to find his relic. But the returning of his relic would cost him dearly. Vale knew very quickly that he would soon die if he did not have his relic to regenerate his being. After doing the voices bidding and reacquiring his relic, he raced towards the portal ... the exit to his dimension. Vale slashed at the Rularuu as they flew behind him, trying to prevent his escape only to discover that they were not attacking him, but following him. Vale approached one of them with caution, in an attempt to find out why they were no longer hostile. Carefully, Vale withdrew his blade and his relic; they were trying to become one. However, this was nothing new. His relic and his blade became one constantly to hide his power. As he released the blade and the relic from his hands, they collided in a flash of light, forming a new sword and attaching itself to Vale's life-force. His mind became clouded ... flooded with thoughts. The once known as Vale Leonis was losing reality, losing his identity of who he was. Rularuu has overtaken Vale's mind. But to what degree? Can Vale return to his normal self? Will this newfound power residing in the mind of Rularuu give him the Absolute Power he needed?
