Background
Early Life
Stela was brought up in a poorer section of town, her father left early the family to pursue his life of musician in a rock band leaving Mrs. Aries alone at home with a young rebellious daughter and a newborn son. Very early Stela began loitering with the wrong crowds to avoid chores at home, often missing out on school days. With her innate power of regeneration she used to show off by cutting herself and amaze her ill-reputed friends with how quickly she would heal.
Street life was not easy and early she had to learn how to defend herself, she detached herself from her family so she wouldn't have to explain her thorn clothes and the haggard look on her face after all the drugs usage. But also to protect them from gang members who would take revenge on her family.
The Trap
Stela was becoming the next big thing in the neighborhood and rumors of her power came to the ears of a small fry scientist named Edmond Larkins who could sure use a guinea pig in his experience, one as low maintenance as her when it came to healing of the flesh and cells. His minions followed her into her usual Friday night rave and while pretending to flirt, offered her a drink laced with a powerful so called rape drug and whisked her away to the hidden laboratory.
For a year or so, she was the pet of Larking, who had in mind to rewrite DNA codes. Between watching Anime and the Isle of Dr.Moreau, he woke up one morning wanting a lady cat. Since Stela had the bad habit of undoing his hard work, he had to locate her mutant gene and convince it that her new shape was her one true form. Her ears slowly recessed and furry lumps grew from the side of her head, in a painful few months her body became leaner and her reflex sharper. But more so instead of nails, long sharp claws grew from her hands over her fingers, hard as metal yet made out of a natural amalgam between bones and nails.
The Escape
Kept under the influence of drugs during her time in the laboratory, her system became slowly immune to the effect that by fear of killing her, Larkins had not augmented. As if waking up from a long sleep, Stela realized with horror what had became of her and turned her anger toward the men who kept her prisoner. After a brief fight that left her much injured, she managed to slay Larkins and his few employees. Once out she found herself without a goal in the middle of a city layered with violence.
The Choice
Finding herself at a crossroad, Stela visited her mother's house to find it empty and boarded up, the city had finally decided to condemn the shambling apartment building she grew up into. Unable to find traces of them, she decided that no matter where her mother and brother were, in the city or else, she would make sure to try and make the world a safer place to live. Little by little she would at least try, if nothing else.

As a "Super" Stela decided to keep her real name, she wanted to become somebody for who she is. Also it would allow her family to take contact with her if they heard of her in the news. She had nothing to hide, even her shady past. It allowed her to become whom she is today and to show example how everyone can turn their life around no matter what. She shares her attention between the local gangs, especially the trolls who more and more take young teenagers in their ranks, with empty promises and drugs that turns them away from themselves.
When she isn't out cleaning the streets from the scum, she finished high school with night classes and then online courses to become a social worker. Spends some time with homeless teenagers to try and help them out to get their lives together.
