Stitchwork, or as she was known before her days as a Super Hero, Tracey Camp, was born with her empathic powers at a very early age. Who in her family was a result of her having the powers she did isn't known, though it was clear her family didn't approve of her using her powers openly and did everything they could to ensure that Tracey was made aware that using her powers was a bad thing. In time they succeeded in getting Tracey to stop using her powers and as the years went by, she'd forgotten all about the abilities she once knew as a child up until High School where she began to grow irate and rebellious with everyone around her.
One day her behavior caused her to get into some serious trouble with a couple other students in her school that decided to make an armed attack against her in order to 'put her in her place'. It wasn't long for Tracey to suffer serious injury at the hands of the students, wishing desperately for the pain she was feeling at the time to go away as she pressed a hand against one of her more serious wounds to try and stop the bleeding, only to discover that when she did, the pain suddenly faded away from her, and her wound was gone. Frightening her attackers at that point with how quickly she healed from the wounds they inflicted on her, they ran away to leave Tracey to her thoughts and shock at how fast she recovered from their attack.
At this point, Tracey began to grow fearful for what others might think if they knew about what happened, believing that she'd be seen as some sort of freak of nature. With these thoughts in mind, she began to distance herself from everyone, eventually being seen as the 'creepy quiet girl' in school and also worrying her parents back home with her sudden alienation of everyone around her. It wasn't long after she graduated from High School how ever, that she learned about the rallying of heroes to Paragon City, deciding then that the best choice for her would be to gather up what belongings and money she had, and leave Detroit for Paragon, wasting no time upon her arrival in registering herself as a new hero of the city.

Life Today
Almost completely putting her old life behind her, the now well regarded hero Stitchwork has enjoyed a carrier as one of Paragon's defenders, appearing on talk shows and even magazines as, "one of the most tenacious protectors of justice". She even took some time off from her days of patrolling the city to study for a degree in medicine, believing that she could use her Empathic powers as a doctor, as well as a Super Hero. Her eventually gained medical training, in addition to her natural healing abilities, soon being put to use in the Rikti War Zone on behalf of the Vanguard. Recently she has gone back to her normal patrols and it is rumored that she even went back to hitting the books again as well, taking up work in studying biology and mechanics.
Personality
Stitchwork is often times very calm and collected, but will usually complain about headaches when in the presence of someone that is giving off heavy negative emotions, sometimes if present for too long she'll even start to show signs of reflecting the negative emotions that caused her discomfort.
Powers/Abilities/Equipment
- Clank the Clockwork:During a mission Stitchwork assisted in while in Pretoria, battling the Psychic Clockwork, it was discovered mid way through the battle that some of the Clockwork parts strewn through out the mission zone had resonated with Stitchwork's empathic signature and formed into a small Gear type Clockwork that started following around Stitchwork during the mission. The little Clockwork that Stitchwork came to know as "Clank", while not capable of actually fighting anything, seems to have an uncanny ability to go unnoticed by anyone Stitchwork is locked in combat with. While the little guy is ultimately useless to Stitch, those that meet Clank seem to grow fond of his antics, and since the robot is apparently linked to Stitch's mind, she has more or less, full control over what he does and can call him to her when ever she wants.
- Empathic Healing:One of the abilities Stitch has that makes her invaluable to Paragon Cities heroes, is her ability to empathicly heal a persons injuries. Willing their pain and wounds to fade away, and even enhancing their longevity in battle.
- Empathic Projection:In addition to her healing powers, Stitchwork has also mastered the ability to use her empathic abilities to project certain emotions, and even sensations of pain onto her enemies. Being capable of enduceing over whelming sensations of drowsiness, pain, and even confusion amongst choice targets. In truly desperate situations when Stitch needs to attack someone up close, she can even delve so far back into her mind that she actually taps into a source of negative energy that for a few brief seconds increases her strength and speed, enabling her to attack an enemy with a raging flurry of blows.
- Flight:When she gained a certain level of mastery over her empathic abilities, she was eventually able to tap into the more psychic aspect of Empathy, granting her the ability to fly.
- Unlock Id:A technique that Stitchwork normally only employs when she is fighting alone. Using her Empathic powers, she can call out the Id within her own mind and actually transform herself into a psychic juggernaught for a few seconds, making it possible for her to unleash her powers on a level she normally isn't able to do without wearing herself down, and even gaining the ability to shrug off some of the most damaging attacks that could be thrown at her.
Weaknesses/Limitations
- Lack of Combat Knowledge:While it goes without saying that Stitchwork posses an incredible level of power at her disposal, there is one glaringly obvious limitation to her abilities many don't seem to realize: She isn't a fighter. While she can hold her own in a battle, and sustain herself almost indefinitely if she absolutely has to, she lacks any formal combat training to speak of and can easily become overwhelmed by opponents that have higher levels of combat skill than she does.
- Pacafism:Though some may not see it as a weakness, Stitchwork refuses to actually kill anyone she comes across. Even Rikti, the most hated beings on Earth, are never actually killed by Stitchwork's hands, as she prefers to simply "make them suffer a little" as she puts it, causing them enough pain with her empathic projections that they are no longer capable of fighting.
The Story So Far
It had been a couple years since Stitchwork was a fully active hero in Paragon City, having taken time off to study for her doctorate. Her return to full active service lead her to discover that the League of Titans was almost entirely inactive now in Paragon City, she being one of the few Titans still actually working in Paragon. Undaunted by this, she continued to represent the League, as she spent a few months working with the Vanguard against the Rikti threat. During her service with Vanguard, she received a transmission from a hero in the city called Servant XII, who explained that he was in need of her help with some cases he had been working on.
Agreeing to help him, Stitchwork was met with a reformed Freakshow that Servant XII had also called in to assist him named Juicer Jo. In the short time she'd gotten to know Jo, she learned a horrible truth to what was done with the Freakshow after incarceration... That every Freakshow that was locked away would have their cybernetic implants removed from the bodies and would be deprived of a special drug that Stitchwork was at the time unaware of called Excelsior, that in truth was something that Freakshow actually needed to stay alive. Horrified by this revelation, Stitchwork, after being calmed down by Jo, resolved to return to her former studies, now taking time in-between her moments of active duty in Paragon City to better understand the principles of cybernetics and chemistry in the hopes she could find a way to cure the Freskshow of their fatal addiction so needless deaths in the Zig could be avoided in the future.
Friends/Acquaintances
Tiger Fist: A fellow member of the League of Titans that Stitch had worked with on multiple occasions in the past during her more 'volatile' years. He's one of the few people, even within the League that Stitchwork remembers vividly; partially due to the veiled flirting that Tiger sometimes did with her in their interactions.

Trivia
1. Stitchwork began her carrier as a hero without a costume, fighting thugs on the streets with nothing but some thick jeans and a jacket she brought with her from Detroit. That particular outfit how ever, was eventually destroyed in a battle she was involved in with the Hydra and had to seek out Serge from Icon for a new, more durable costume. She was given one that Serge felt best fit her name.
2. When she gained enough of a reputation in Paragon City as a fearless Defender class hero, she was approached by the League of Titans for recruitment, which she gladly accepted.
