Rorke Industries
Alexander comes from a family that knows weaponry. Founded by his grandfather, Grahm Rorke, it became the go to company for weaponry and other various "toys" during the Hamidon Wars. Without a heavy-hitter like Crey around the family did well, eventually being handed over to Alex's mother. After the Hamidon Wars his mother was offered a sort of "buyout" for the company. She'd still run the day to day basics but the company would be absorbed into Cole's empire to help further the stability of Praetoria. She agreed without hesitation, working with the Praetors to arm and further Praetoria's arsenal.

Growing Up
Due to his mother's "donation" of the company to Cole's cause, Alexander grew up privileged. With him and his parents being Loyalist there really wasn't anything the Alex couldn't have. A nice place to live and the best education he could get. It was during his education that he met his best friend to this day, Elizabeth, or Beth for short. The two were almost inseparable. Each seemed to balance the other out. When one got in trouble the other was always there to bail out or protect. As they got older Alex took to the family business, being offered an internship at what was once Rorke Industries. When Beth was unavailable he would go there to learn about the equipment made there. On occasion he was even allowed to test out the new items in development. It was there that Alex showed a remarkable talent for small firearms. His input and even marksmanship began to spread through the ranks. Soon Alex found himself testing the weaponry after school a lot more until graduation.

As word made it's way through the ranks Alex was given the opportunity to join the Praetorian Police Department upon graduation. Since his best friend was younger than him and still in school he thought it would be a perfect way for him to spend time and at the same time maintain peace and order in the place he loved so much.

Before his time with Powers Division his Abyss powers were subtle at best. Through science his connection to this dark power was intensified. His mother has hinted at a past family mutation connected with a "dark magic" but Alex is the first in generations to exhibit the power. Some of the powers seem to only affect the shadows while others seem to pull from a dark dimension.
Thanks to his families old weapons company and his time with T.E.S.T. he has access to the latest small arms weaponry.
