Beings from other realities are not uncommon in Paragon City, though many seem to be refugees of some sort or another. Meredeth, though not a refugee herself, is one of the many extra-dimensional travelers.

Origins

Meredeth is from an alternate earth, similar to Primal Earth, with a plethora of superpowered individuals. However, unlike in Primal Earth, the line between hero and villain is blurred in the public eye. The normal people of this Earth greatly fear, and in many cases, outright hate those with power, collectively called mutants, regardless of how they got their power. Meredeth was one of these mutants, though her life growing up was a little better than most mutants. Unlike many, Meredeth's parents, who themselves were an odd couple that had fought for universal acceptance, didn't abandon or disown her when her powers began manifesting. However, her parents were not equipped with the capabilities that were needed to understand or truly help Meredeth during the growth of her powers. When her powers manifested, Meredeth's sense of touch, already atrophied thanks to her CIP, was completely wiped out, though she became seemingly invulnerable.

The Academy

Unable to really help Meredeth, Sonja and Mila sent her off to a school in Dunwich, New Hampshire. This school specialized in helping kids like Meredeth learn to develop their powers in a safe environment away from the prejudice of the normal populace. Here Meredeth learned the extent of her powers. At first, it appeared that her invulnerability came from being encased in a skin-tight, form fitting force field. This field both protected her from harm and negated what little sense of touch she had. Testing showed the strength of the field, being able to withstand, initially, 5 tons of force. Exceeding this temporarily broke through the field, where the instructors discovered that Meredeth's body had reinforced itself several times over, negating the little amount of force that got through her field. Further testing showed that her field's strength increased gradually over time. By the time she graduated, her field could withstand over 50 tons of force. As the strength of her field increased, it became more and more difficult to ascertain the strength of her reinforced body.

Blood Knight

Thanks to her nigh invulnerability, Meredeth had become rather cocky and throughout her time at the Academy, she had sought out fights, getting thrills on the off chance someone was strong enough to pierce her field and cause damage to her body, with a small hope at the back of her head that they would shock her pain receptors into working. Alas this had never happened, the pain part that is. A few were able to pierce her field, in her first few years, but were unable to sustain enough force to damage her reinforced body. After graduation, she continued to seek out fights, initially going after anyone who seemed strong, hoping to regain the thrill of someone strong enough to actually break through her field. During these days, she had gained the nickname of Blood Knight, as she did not care who she fought or what their goals were, so long as they were strong. However, towards the end, she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

Forced Exile

As far as interdimensional travel goes, in MEredeth's Earth, it more or less remained in the realm of science fiction. Though unknown to most of the populace, there was one very minor exception. An up and coming villain, publicly known as Slide, had taken up residence and started creating a sizable power base in New York, were Meredeth was residing at the time. Deciding to try the guy out, Meredeth fought her way through Slide's minions and to the man himself. She then learned why the man called himself Slide. He was able to slide his way through reality, disappearing from one area and reappearing in another. However that was not the only thing he could do. Slide was quite possibly the only person in her world that could transport people from one reality to another, though he himself did not know this. He used this power to cause people to disappear, and had been unwilling to use it on himself on the off chance that it would kill him, like he thought it did to others. Meredeth blacked out when Slide hit her with this power, and woke up in Galaxy City, just hours before it was attacked by the Shivans.

Arrival

Upon arrival in Galaxy City, Meredeth noticed a number of things. First was the all around acceptance for people like her, second was that her powers had seemed to weaken. Common street thugs were able to pierce her force field and her body was far weaker than before. Her reaction to this, rather than anger or despair, was excitement. With her powers weakened it opened up many new foes whom she would not have considered before. When the Shivans attacked, she threw done with them with sheer joy and recklessness.

Personality

While she has mellowed out a little since arriving in Primal Earth. While she still eagerly seeks out fights, she tends to focus her aim on those that do the public harm. Meredeth is seemingly always upbeat and cheerful, and nothing seems to get her down for long. Though she tends to hide it, Meredeth is quite intelligent and learns quite quickly and tends to remember the majority of what she sees and hears.

Powers

Force Field: While severely weaker here than on her world, Meredeth has a personal force field that is constantly active and covers her entire body. Meredeth actually has no control over it and can not turn it off at all.

Reinforced Body: As a secondary layer of defense, Meredeth's body is stronger and more durable than most peoples. However, like her force field, this ability has drastically weakened as compared to what is was before.

Weaknesses

Brawler: Meredeth never formally learned how to fight, using a wild and unrefined self-made style that vastly prioritizes offense over defense.
