Shaolin Sorcerer (Logan McKnight) is a fictional hero on the Virtue server of the online game City of Heroes. Shaolin Sorcerer is closely based off of the Marvel comic book hero "Dr. Strange"

Character Background

This former arrogant and greedy seed of a man was once an oncologist. Logan fell ill to the disease he has been trained to eradicate (cancer) Unable to cope with his situation he desperately searched for a way to come up with a cure, or at least prolong his existence. Even with all the medical technology available he was unable to find a way to keep himself from succumbing to the cancer. Throwing money at every possibility, he found an answer, in the mystic arts. Through self teaching and practicing, he became adept in the arts.Still not enough, he prayed to every deity known in the multi-verse. Given a sign one fateful day he sought Azuria. Under her wing his thirst for knowledge grew, learning all forms of magic he became a power house. Ever since his journey started, the tumor in his head started to get smaller, eventually disappearing. Unknown why this happened Azuria simply answered "You perceived the tumor to be there, and it was. During your learning you forgot about the tumor, and it disappeared. Tear down the walls that stop you from furthering your life, and continue down your path."

Personality

Style

Having a taste for the finer things in life, Logan's style is that of a rich bachelor what with suits, form fitting pants and expensive glasses. Although a lot more humble now than when he was an actual doctor, he still keeps his snobbishness.

Intelligence

It is not known what the docs limitations are for he's been around long enough to know an outrageous amount of information. Although it has been shown that he can dive into the minds of anyone to gather whatever information he doesn't already have.

80% of his power comes from years of training, the other 20 come from artifacts and a boon placed on him by the very gods he prays to.
