Personality

Stonebinder revels in combat, often becoming restless if she has not fought recently. While this often leads her into conflict with her enemies, she is just as likely to fight friends and acquaintances, should they be willing to go a few rounds toe-to-toe with the big troll. Often any opportunity to exhibit her physical prowess is pounced on. Stonebinder is a showoff and loves to boast.

Stonebinder's attitude is typically jovial. She enjoys humor and trading barbs with others. She has a very mischievous side and enjoys practical jokes. Although this would seem to be a positive trait, her jokes are often of a vicious or cruel nature, with little regard to hurt feelings or possible injury.

Stonebinder's manner of speech(Trollspeak), combined with the fact that she is of an ancient and mythologized race, often leads others to underestimate her intelligence. She is in fact quite astute and clever, and uses this to her advantage. Over the many years of her life she has continually kept up with new technologies and hoarded knowledge of the world at large. Stonebinder is as likely to be encountered on an internet forum as a battlefield these days.

In Her Own Words

"Stonebinder am TROLL! Not Dyne Troll. They take name cuz they kinda look like Troll, act like Troll. Real Troll be around much longer. That okay. Stonebinder think imitation sincerest form of flattery.

Stonebinder have strong magic. Earth magic. Shape rock. Shape gem. Use stone to CRUSH enemy. Like to SMASH! Like to FIGHT! Also like sculpting. Stonebinder am multi-faceted.

Stonebinder like romantic comedies, candle-lit goat dinner, long walk on beach. Like man who make laugh, and not afraid to cry when Stonebinder punch him.

If you think Stonebinder am Troll for you... GET IN LINE! Stonebinder am very busy. Maybe pencil you in next week, if calendar clear."

Powers and Abilities

Earth Magic

Stonebinder is a powerful sorceress with extensive knowledge of troll sorcery. Her true talent lies in earth magic, and is the source of her namesake. With the use of sorcery Stonebinder is able to alter minerals of all types down to the molecular level. This allows her to alter the shape of stone or gems, for example. She uses this skill to shape weapons for herself or to make the very ground tremble and erupt. This magic is also often used in a less destructive manner, such as building structures or creating works of art.

Strength

Stonebinder is incredibly strong. Though the upper limits of her strength are undocumented, she is believed to meet or exceed a strength level of 100 tons when enraged. This strength is used in a number of athletic feats, making her very quick as well as being able to leap large distances.

Fortitude

Stonebinder is very resistant to physical injury. It is very difficult to inflict piercing or blunt trauma on Stonebinder. Gunfire, for instance, is easily shrugged off unless specialized rounds are used. Stonebinder seldom falls ill and has incredible levels of endurance, able to maintain intense levels of physical activity for extended periods of time without tiring.

Regeneration

When Stonebinder's natural resistance or the protection of her armor is bypassed and she is injured, her troll physiology quickly begins to heal the wounds. Her body has incredible regenerative capabilities, including the ability to re-attach severed limbs. Seemingly mortal blows have been documented as healing in 30 seconds or less.

Heightened Senses

Stonebinder's senses are above peak human level, but normal for a troll. Her eyes are capable of sight at very low levels of illumination. Her ears are capable of picking up a wide range of frequency and their size allows her to pick up far away or soft sounds that might otherwise be lost by a human. Her sense of smell is very acute and she is capable of tracking by scent alone.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Thunder and Lightning

Stonebinder has a phobia of lightning and thunder. This is not uncommon among trolls, and some believe that the Norse god Thor is the source of this phobia. Stonebinder's phobia is not crippling as she is still able to continue normal functions, albeit shaken.

Bright Light

Although Stonebinder does not turn to stone upon exposure to sunlight, unlike some types of trolls, she is still very sensitive to light. She prefers dark or dim-lit areas and can be momentarily blinded by transition to a brighter area, or the introduction of a bright source of light. Extended exposure to bright light is very uncomfortable to her, and can even cause pain depending on the severity of the light.
