Biography
At the age of 11, Jimmy Foerst learned that he had the power to control and manipulate fire. He kept it a secret for a very long time until he was forced to use his power at the age of 17 to fend off a mugger. Now, at age 24, he uses his powers to fight crime under his new persona; the Human Cinder.
His first major operation was against the Rikti forces during their second invasion in 2007, at which time he was deputized by Longbow to assist in repelling the incursion. He has since teamed up with longbow on numerous occasions.
Personality
The Human Cinder is an incredibly upbeat, positive, and outgoing individual. He's incredibly friendly and witty, and is always quick with a joke or some words of wisdom. However, his temper, when roused, is just as hot as the flames he hurls at his enemies.
In combat, he is confident and focused, often floating overhead for a commanding view of the situation, hurling fireballs down on the attackers.
He is also known to be deceptively smart. He seems like a typical goof, but his mind is rather quick, which is the resource from which he derives his lightning-quick wit.

The Human Cinder has the power to create and manipulate fire. Anything from a small flame to a large blaze. He also has the ability to engulf himself in flame from head to toe, which he often does just before combat.
In addition to his main powers, he also has the ability to simulate flight by using heat waves in the air to levitate his body. This can be done for an indefinite amount of time, and he is able to do so at remarkable speed.
Weaknesses and Limitations
He has no special immunities or resistances and, except for his mutant powers, is no different than any other man of his age and physical condition.
Equipment
His suit is made of a thermal polymer capable of withstanding the intense heat generated by his body. It was awarded to him by Longbow as a reward for assisting them during the Rikti incursion, though the intent was mostly so they wouldn't have to see him emerge naked after his battles. Admittedly, he regards that sentiment as more jealousy than anything else, brushing the notion aside with a sly wink and nod.
